Kids 😊😊 and i say that with jealousy , im 67 ! From the hard ground to a Van to a MB mmm ☺️ life get's better as time goes on !! MISS U SMILES And Glad ur back !! Stay Safe and Beee Happy ✌️😎👍
Woot woot!! Thanks for the tour. I was there about 40 years ago. That's for you Anna. You keep jumping back and forth across the country I'm gonna throw my back out trying to keep up.
An icon of America’s majestic natural beauty, California’s Yosemite National Park welcomes millions of visitors each year-drawn to its dramatic waterfalls, giant sequoias, abundant wildlife, and awe-inspiring cliffs, like Half Dome and El Capitan.
I grew up in the valley, with half dome as my view front my front yard. I'm part of a very few people who can say that. I went to high school in Mariposa which is 1.5 hours away by bus each way. That commute sucks. I would also say visit in the winter when the park is covered in snow. Talk about mesmerizing!!
Just booked a heated yurt at Curry Village for my second attempt at Firefall in February 2022. I love Curry Village. It feels so rustic but yet, it has great amenities.
My husband and I have been to Yosemite many times over the years, usually in the winter. But last year, we went during the fall (2021) for the first time. So incredibly beautiful, with the leaves changing colors. One thing I would advise any visitor to Yosemite: go to the Ahwahnee Hotel! It's a national historic landmark. You don't have to stay there to see it. Sit in the Great Room, by the Citizen Kane-type fireplace. Have breakfast in the amazing dining room. One other tip: never ever visit Yosemite in the summer. It's hot. And it's super crowded. Go off season, in the fall or winter. Actually, spring can be pretty crowded as well. I've traveled to the fjords in Norway and the mountains in Switzerland. And I still think Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places on earth,
Yes can confirm. We were there the same exact time and camped just outside the park above Groveland on Highway 120. Fall is definitely the best time to go. You just missed Glacier point as they opened it I believe the 16th. Sunrise up there was truly amazing. Safe travels
Love Yosemite so much. Spent every summer there growing up and was just there 3 years ago. Great video but hiking down from Yosemite Falls (or anywhere in the mountains) after dark is simply irresponsible and opens you up to so many additional dangers. And, puts your would-be rescuers at risk.
Funny story when we went in the spring. We saw online that the road to Glacier Point was still closed and the park rangers at the entrance did not know if it was or wasn’t. It was a long drive if we risked driving to the road and it turned out to be closed so we decided to just hike up the 4 mile trail only to find out that when we got there there were tons of cars. 😅 Obviously we needed to see Taft point so we hiked up even more. It was exhausting took us 12 hours total to hike up and down, but the more I think about it the happier I am we hiked and not took a car views were indescribable!
Ahh amazing vid!! Warms my heart knowing you guys enjoyed your trip. It’s been an absolute pleasure collabing with you two. Looking forward to watching more of your guys’ epic adventures & doing more collabs! Much love 🙏🏽🔥❤️
I’ve been meaning to give y’all a compliment for a while. On one video, you suggested people eat at Taco Bell on road trips to save money. With so many uppity snobbish people on RUclips, I thought that was really cool. A very REAL recommendation that instantly made you down-to-earth.
If i ever go to the USA i'll visit for sure all the National Parks, thanks for the amazing views, those waterfalls and mixed up colors drive me insane! Love, from Portugal
Just stumbled across this video of you two. I am 80 years old and quick to decide what I like. I loved your presentation. Great photography and so fast paced and upbeat. Just plain fun for us older folks who remember and appreciate youth. Especially youth that appreciates nature. I have been to Yosemite a number of times (maybe 8) and did a 50-mile backpack trip all inside the park. Climbed half dome twice. Were you able to go to top of Yosemite falls to the pool that dumps into it? I did Vernal and Nevada falls with a 50-pound backpack. Big work!! In the spring after a big snow year in the Sierra, those steps are running with water, and you get soaked on the way up or down. I got soaked and cold! Still fun though. Keep up the good work and I will watch for you in the future. Stay safe and follow the rules when comes to signs designated for your safety. Often people don't and they die. True story. Keep up the good work.
I'm from the Sierra just North of Yosemite and several times a year I drive through the Park, either through the Valley and back out, or over Hwy 120 to Lee Vining on the other side of the Sierra. It's ALWAYS a wonderful drive. You should come back when you have more time and just soak it all in.... it's very habit forming....
I used to live on bishop when I was younger and I'm extremely upset there were never any trips to Yosemite when it was literally by back yard..... I'm planning for it NOW tho. I can't wait!!! Thanks for the tip on the one ways
Was just there over Thanksgiving weekend and the gridlock traffic leaving the park after 3pm was insane! First night stayed outside the park but second at the Ahwanee and made all the difference. Prepare to stand in lines for everything. Was not expecting that but amazing place overall.
i was there friday the day after thanksgiving got there at 7 am and out by 2pm it did not get busy till about 10am . there were so many cars coming in at 2pm they were waving cars through going out of the park so i got to see the park for free.
Hey guys I love your guys trip to Yosemite National Park it was amazing I have a another place which I don’t think you guys never been to yet can you visit Mt St Helens in Washington it was a volcano that erupted in May of 1980
What a beautiful tour in Yosemite!! Thanks for taking us along. I found your channel by coincidence but end up loving the vibe. it's so relaxing and gives a good feeling. Thanks a lot for sharing!! New friend here!😊😊
pro tip for ya to hike up Half Dome, hike up it and talk to fellow hikers along the way to the top of the peak to see if they have spare spots on it. I climbed half dome without a permit. My 20+ friends also didn't have a permit and all got to climb up Half Dome without having a permit because we all asked other hikers to go on their unused permits. Otherwise you may have to wait to get a permit. All in all ask a stranger for a spot with them to hike it.
Get a Airbnb in Pine Mountain Lake (Groveland). It's a gorgeous private lake community that's only 20 minutes outside of Yosemite. Staying in Jamestown is nice too, its a cute small town with a great breakfast cafe thats across from a Cigar/Whiskey Lounge. Jamestown is 1 hour outside of Yosemite.
Midpines is only about 35 minutes from the Arch entrance to the park. Some RV parks there and Air BNB/VRBO's. Much more manageable that 3 hours round trip everyday.
Your video editing is point, I always love watching your videos! Yosemite seems like a beautiful place. I lived in the States for 10 months but never got to experience it, maybe some day ☺️ Can't wait for the van tour! 😍
Hi Ian and Ana, Great video! Wish you posted it before thanksgiving, we went there during thanksgiving and almost covered everything except vernal and upper Yosemite falls (day and half trip) but we get to drive to glacier point for sunrise . Also just like you guys we slept in our car overnight at curry village without knowing we aren’t supposed to be sleeping there, thanks for letting us know and finally have a wonderful wedding. Cheers!
I've never been to the US 🇺🇸 and as a hiker and a nature guy yosmite is on my list of top hiking spot beside lake Tahoe and Utah I'm sure I'll be filming myself one day soon 🙂 thank you so much for sharing this video felt like I was there you're a wonderful couples live it up all the best greeting from Algeria 🇩🇿
I've been going to Yosemite with my Beagles for a while. Yosemite is a Bucket List! I score the first week in August this year, riverfront in North Pines for a week!
Thank you very much. I love your video a lot. I will gi to Yosemite Park next week, I have a question, my trip from San Francisco to Yosemite and sleep one night at Mariposa place, I think I get to Yosemite around noon, I plan to stop by Tunnel View first, do do I to pay to get to Tunnel View? All the attentions like, Glacier point, Mirror Lake, Lower Fall, Curry Village…. I have to get into the park to pay for the parking, then go to those attractions? Thanks
So love these videos. Any chance we will see an exploration of Banf, icefields Parkway and Jasper in the future? I know you guys would do justice to those.
There is a hike to Glacier Point. Probably equal difficulty as the Yosemite Falls. The road maybe closed but the hiking trail should be open. It is an awesome view from the top of Glacier Point.
This makes me even more excited for my first trip to Yosemite! I am hoping to try and get out there before the end of the month!! Any tips for best photography spots? (I am also a photographer) :) Really enjoyed your video!!

Interesting that you didn’t list Rocky Mountain Nat Park. I think it definitely tops those Utah Parks, but I like wooded parks more than the rocky desert like parks. Don’t get me wrong. I’m wearing a Zion shirt randomly right now. I love that park and Bryce Canyon is absolutely amazing. But Rocky Mountain is awesome.
thanks for the great video and tour of Yosemite !! I can't wait to go and visit some of the places and thanks for all of the information ! Love watching you both ! I am a new subscriber catching up on all of your videos. So happy you were able to drive that nice van!
I went with my whole family and it soo amazing and we went to the tallest tree where we stay that old house for 3 days and it was so much fun I want to go again because this my first time to go on Yosemite National Park🌄🏞⛰️🏔🗻
hi remember yosemite is much bigger then just the valley if you come in the summer after the snow is gone you can go to the high country to and do at least 5 days or more to see everything.

Yes! We were there a few weeks ago (early February). Snow on the ground, and the fewest visitors we've every seen. Glorious!
California, the most beautiful place on earth. Not even alaska or Kauai come close and i love them dearly
Yosemite is one of my favorite places I have ever been too. I have been to a lot of places. Love it.
This van just made this trip feel likes 5 star luxury hotel 👍👍👍
Cool video. Yosemite is my favorite National Park. I saw at least 4 of my stock footage time lapse. Always fun to see where they end up being used.
