I love your advice Casey! I've lived my life (and raised 3 kids) with the philosophy that if you surround yourself with positive there will be no room for negative. It's worked very well for us and I love when we find people who feel the same way. Life is too short to jack with people who feel the need to judge others. =}

5 years ago i started highschool and i found my true passion towards film making. 1 year ago today i found out who you are and what you do. and ever since then i look at filmmaking in a whole different way. you haven't done any tutorials in film making but just by simply watching your videos you have filled me up with so much knowledge and so much inspiration and have given me so much hope that one day i can "make it" whether it is filming my first feature film or winning awards for my creativeness in film making. thank you for teaching me so much! i look forward to working with you in the future!
i think judging is just when u assume some1 is something without knowing, but you could confirm some1 is judgmental and when its been confirm its no longer judging them, its just facts at that point. thats my take lol

Many runners are plagued with joint and muscle issues, but many people have switched to BF running and report reduced or even disappearing problems after properly transitioning. I don't run, I just prefer being able to feel the ground I'm walking on. The sensory input is amazing. Shoes are tools, I only use them when needed, and I don't need them very often.

Noise pollution, that must be nuts. I live in a quiet town in Australia, I also like to go on bike rides. Yesterday a mate and I got to the top of this long climb and there's a camp ground there that wasn't open at the time. That was possibly the quietest place I have ever been. You could here your footsteps echo hahaha

Re: your comments about judging, or not judging others: EVERYONE judges. EVERYONE! For example, you said you eliminate "bad" people from your life.... which means you have judged them, decided there was something about them you did not like, and tossed them aside. Avoid a particular restaurant? Probably means you've judged the employees there whether its the cook, the wait staff, whatever. Don't date someone because they're fat, skinny, too tall or too short? You've judged the ones you are not attracted to. Judging is not always a bad thing, I don't know why people continue to act like they don't do it. We all do it.

Judging how someone is is not good doesn't matter who it is you're judging, but we still do it because it's human nature. I think I am good in keeping judgements of others to myself (and usually avoid judging anyway), but when it comes down to just me, I'm terrible. As a perfectionist, I spot each and every mistake I make and I judge myself for it. Not good. It's a pain, even though I learn from it, it just stresses me out, making me less social and less happy. But that's who I grew up to be, at least for now anyway.

Re: your comments about judging, or not judging others: EVERYONE judges. EVERYONE! For example, you said you eliminate "bad" people from your life.... which means you have judged them, decided there was something about them you did not like, and tossed them aside. Avoid a particular restaurant? Probably means you've judged the employees there whether its the cook, the wait staff, whatever. Don't date someone because they're fat, skinny, too tall or too short? You've judged the ones you are not attracted to. Judging is not always a bad thing, I don't know why people continue to act like they don't do it. We all do it.

+Shelly Coopa We also judge ourselves and it's usually just a bad thing not only how it reflects but just by itself. Judging how someone is is not good doesn't matter who it is you're judging, but we still do it because it's human nature. I think I am good in keeping judgements of others to myself (and usually avoid judging anyway), but when it comes down to just me, I'm terrible. As a perfectionist, I spot each and every mistake I make and I judge myself for it. Not good. It's a pain, even though I learn from it, it just stresses me out, making me less social and less happy. But that's who I grew up to be, at least for now anyway.
Shelly Coopa judging someone and being judgmental are 2 different things. You have to judge people all the time. But only on their personality. Judging someone by one of the things Casey said is being judgmental. But judging by their personality is what you should do.
