To be honest, I've not used them on this device so can't comment anything but the hardware is very capable to handle tasks. You can search the hardware requirements required by your apps on google.

@@Techperiments Not only in case of battery, HP implememted this differentiating factor in colour as well. Try getting a hands on black coloured pavilian. You will 'need' to buy envy or spectre. You will get white, silver and pink but no black. Not even grey. White or silver coloured key make backlight redundant. plus it is hard to notice those keycaps in daylight. Whereas, it is easy to see white characters on black keycaps. also, hp provides 41 whr battery in their 15 inch silver colored pavilians, costing 60k+. HP, being american, does not provide good specs at a given price point, as compared to other brands.
