*I330R Dive Computer* - bit.ly/3jcOYaR The AquaLung i330r Dive Computer is a rechargeable, colour screen dive computer for recreational scuba diving. The colourful IPS display on the i330r is easy to understand at a glance and even in bright sunlight. Factory sealed, the internal battery can be topped up at any time and dives can be downloaded to your phone or tablet by Bluetooth.
Brought one and just had it completely die on me after 5 dives. Battery went low after finishing a dive plugged it in and now it is DEAD. Brought it to my dive shop and we tried a new charger...no change...Tried my charger on a new i330 and it worked great. Hopefully it can get resolved. I love the computer except it has a very glary screen if diving with a lot of sunlight. Down deep the screen is very visible but if you are 20 feet down you have to turn your wrist and look at the screen from an angle to see it clearly. This definitely could be an issue when doing safety stops at 15 feet. :(
Do not buy these at the moment. They have issued a recall on all their i330R's because of a faulty internal seals. Mine has gone back because it died and now the demo unit that I was borrowing whilst they were fixing it has died too. This recall is also taking a loooong time because of the global component shortage that is happening right now.
Hi! Any update with your computer? When I ordered mine they started with all the recall process, today it arrived and wanted to know if anyone had issues recently after the recall.
@@RCAirogrip yes but the spring system itself is too weak for the potential forces that you can apply to the unit. I already lost one like this and I learned the lesson. For the price is better to get the Shearwater Peregrine.
@@kumwamd Something to do with the internal seals not being seated properly and in some cases they would allow water to get in. Went for a sherwater pergrine instead, display is much nicer.
@@Juggins13 ouch that sucks! As soon as the shop told me that they recalled it I gave it back and asked for a refund. I got a peregrine and haven't looked back since. I'm very happy with it but it kind of a shame it don't have a free diving mode but gauge mode does the trick
@@juanl7141 I have watched the review videos and it really doesn't seem like the peregrine is worth £200 extra (if you ignore the whole recall/dying thing). I told the shop I will keep waiting for mine to be fixed and sent out. They have been great and are sending me a (another) demo unit (cressi) so I can continue diving.
I suggest if someone have it, don't do updating firmware. Because I just bought one i330r and had problems after updating firmware 1.004. It had black screen and can't boot up. Even can't be recharged. Seems like no one can help me. Retailer say this is my problem. Aqualung website never reply my question. This watch just like junk after 2 hours I have it. So disappointed with Aqualung.
@@Chrome0wl Seems like no solution right now. I have thrown it in the trash can. I learned an important rule from this computer: "only buy popular products".😅😅
8 minutes and 22 seconds into the talk he tells you who it is for. So complete waste of time if you are one of the 99% of people who dive with 1 gas only. Might be nice to get that in the first 10 seconds so we don't have to waste our time.
What are you talking about? This dive computer is for the 99% of people who dive with 1 gas only. This dive computer was built for recreational divers. Maybe you misheard what he said? I'm confused by your comment.

Was wondering about the inner strap. Thanks for clearing that up!
Thanks for the review. I hesitate between the aqualung i300r and the cressi Donatello. What's your advice. Thanks 🙏🙏

Can you follow up with the warranty work?
Thank you for the perfect description
A limit of this computer is that he don't remain in gauge or free dive mode when off. Every new dive he set automatically Air.
good to know
The Bluetooth pairing is not so automatic, and I have yet to be able to access the dive log.
I was wondering for it's size would it still be considered as being able to use even when not diving as an everyday watch?
loooool
Man do u ship to Egypt @?

@@venturera_ I have gotten my computer back now, but I haven't dived since its getting too cold in the water here in Sweden now.
Thanks for letting people know
those spring bars are a big turn off! very easy to loose this unit.
My thoughts too, which is a shame as otherwise it looks a great computer
they are fully covered by the second strap so not easy to get to them and accidentally unclip them

Love it
This is a lot of bang for your buck, compared to its competitors in this price range.
didnt even have a computer for a full month and its already been recalled
do you know what is the reason for aqualung recalling them?

sounds scary. did you find a solution? it is sad that most people dont do firmware updates nowadays
