if anyone is deciding on this patch pack in 2024 i got it in their bundle beginning of this year and they still sound so good, i use them as a jumping off point often because it feels much more diverse than the default (v1) patches, in my opinion 🤘
With the potential of this synth I’d like to hear more dissonant sequences, spatial drones, FM pads and the likes… it’s all too musical to my taste eventhough I do appreciate the quality and high level of sound design presented.
This is definitely a synth known for its volume and strong distorted powerful sounds and then when you hear some soft things come out of it, it's a nice dynamic and it can sound very sweet and pretty when you patch it right
Arturia should send you a cheque , you just sold a unit ;) Something about the sound of this is so nice to my ears. I know it's personal taste - I had the Pro3 and it was neat, The Sub37 and that was good too, but there's just something nice about the Matrix Brute - perhaps I'm just Intimidated by the scale of it hehe
