Once again I can not stress enough how calm these videos are. No fancy music. Just pure hunting. Nice and refreshing.
Howdy Jason. That was one great bull you got there!!!!! As you and I know, elk are very tough animals. Sometimes they can go great distances even though they are the walking dead. Thank you for the video! Later on sir....
You all seem like super humble and appreciative hunters. Great to see videos like these. Thanks so much for documenting and sharing. Well done, congrats on an incredible animal!
Mega bull, Jason. Congratulations, brother!
Holly cow my heart was pumping fast when he showed up like 10 yards away and i am just watching it on my phone. Terrific footage as usual.
You nailed the trifecta for me in an above average production. Calm demeanor, emotion stirring background music and great footage from start to finish. It was a pleasure to watch, thank you!
It’s a wonderful thing when it all comes together we appreciate it more when we have to work a little harder! Thanks Jason.
Congratulations! So glad you found him, the will to live will push you to limits unimaginable! I love your videos, the calmness, clarity, pure hunting, the good, the bad, all of it. And the way you handle yourself as an outdoorsman and videographer it's amazing. Thank you
Awesome bull. Awesome video. So real. Thank you. Congrats
WHAT A SLAMMER BULL! Huge congrats and glad to see it all worked out in the end. Hearing that bull breathing coming up the hill was INTENSE!
Congrats Jason on a great bull and awesome video I enjoy watching your adventures
Congrats Jason! Super happy for you and that you found him!
Awesome video! Ive taken a few in there.
Zing never disappoints with the camera and production work!
Can’t figure out why we need to see that mule deer add everytime
Congrats on a great bull!
Was the meat still salvageable
Congrats man !! Great bull . U earned it !!!!
Great video 👊🏻
Worked out as it should..! One way or another..! Dream result..!
Wow saaa! He’s a beast! I really enjoy the video footage.
Another "Zinger". What a beautiful bull.
Man super lucky you found him.... awesome hunt. I hate it when the gut plugs it up and you loose blood.
Forsure. Thank goodness it was a total pass through and exited behind his opposite shoulder getting liver and one lung. Tough suckers those elk...
Awesome hunt guys . Some day I wish for a experience like that . Chasing the dream. 😍
Great recovery, if all goes as planned on my hunts i would quit hunting, the unknown is intriguingly fantastic, it draws the hunter into a web of natural-instincts that have been asleep, oh yeah ........................
I agree! Thank you for watching!
Awesome Bull👍🏾
Congratulations on a beautiful bull way is stick with it!!
Awesome production and great bull. Curious though did you ever lay eyes on the big bull you had initially started out looking for.
That's a shame to lose all that meat. At least you were able to eventually recover and close the loop.
James Coulter yeah it would have definitely been a shame. I was relieved it was all ok.
Another awesome production Jason. Well done. How was the meat? Were you able to save any of it?
Thank goodness the coolness of the water helped keep the meat cold. We have already eatin this entire bull and he tasted great!
Scott was breathing harder than the bull. LOL
What about the meat? Glad you stuck with the recovery. Been there and it is the worst feeling for a serious hunter.
Cynic 69 meat was all good!!
Looked like a text book shot i'm surprised he went that far as well? Can you share the details on the shot? where did the broadhead hit and did the gut plug up the exit hole? Congrats! Love your videos!
What text book are you reading? He should have stopped the bull first of all. The arrow went through way too much of the gut before it got vitals. It went a mile and a half. Not text book IMO.
@@mervjb809 IMO that would have been nice but the bull looked very close and for the sharp angle of the shot, the placement looked perfect or text book. I believe I read that on the Elk 101 website.
Thank you for the compliment! I appreciate hearing that. The shot was quartered hard 1/3 of the way up the body. The arrow went in the gut, liver & one lung and came out right behind his opposing shoulder. I was shocked the bull went as far as he did honestly but they are so damn tough, nothing surprises me anymore....
what type of Sony camera do you use? is that that 70-200
Aren't these older videos?
Congrats on a stud of a bull! Was the meat still good on your bull? 2019 I shot one and found it the next day after leaving him over night and by the time I got him and quartering up the meat had already gone bad. It wasn't a bad shot either he went no more then 200 yards.
congrats. can you share the shot location and exit?
Where is that. Lat and Lon. C'mon, cough it up. I like the looks of that country.
You got lucky. Congratulations.
