Kiri is not voiced by Sigourney. Kiri is played by her. She did the whole motion capture performance for Kiri.

Just for the record, the natives of Pandora are not avatars. They are the Na'vi. Avatar only refers to the bio-engineered bodies that humans temporarily "ride" in. Those bodies are their avatars in that world just as a character in a video game is the player's avatar. When Jake was permanently transferred to his avatar body, he became a Na'vi.
13 years of waiting for this movie to come out and it was all worth waiting for. Can’t wait for Avatar 3 next year
James Cameron should set up a museum of all the different props and cameras that he shot or used to film his historic movies. He should call it “Cameron’s Cameras and More”. RIP Neteyam

“I see you” is basically them saying “I love you” like I see into your soul. It’s Incredible how EVERYTHING you see including the water is all cgi! Also you have to play the game now!
This ending is so so so good. And apparently A3 and half of A4 are mostly already finished they are just in post-production with content James Cameron says is "the good stuff". If he was able to make The Way of Water this good without including "the good stuff" that has me really excited.

Yeah. Those deleted scenes with Neytiri are quite dark lol, especially where she’s repeatedly stabbing that human
I love this movie, and can't wait for the rest! They filmed 2 and 3 together so the kid actors wouldn't age-out awkwardly. I'm very invested in seeing what the series has in store for Recom Quaritch, Spider, and Kiri!
Tuk is a whole mood there, happy one minute & sad the next. I mean I get it, she had to leave her grandmother & her friends behind.

They actually filmed this underwater that's why it took so long to release & so happy that you enjoyed it can't wait for you to see the and play the game you would love it have a good day.

I saw this movie in 3D twice and cried both times. While I like the overall feel of the original film a little more in terms of story and vibe the visuals In this one were incredible. That pissed off Payakan scene is so good lol. Looking forward to your reaction.

For the game, the story is okay, but the visuals and the world building is where the game really shines, Massive did a great job really bringing the player to pandora
I bought the game on release on ps5. it's SUCH a great game. I ran in the jungle for 30 hours just taking it all in, before starting the quests. I'd say it's really worth the play
I honestly love this. I ended up seeing it 4 times in the cinema. 3 times in IMAX 3D. So much better than the first film to me, it’s a much easier rewatch. Yes its maybe a clichéd story, it has some cheesiness and silliness, lots of very convenient occurrences to move the plot along… but it’s “human”, emotive, genuinely highlights the problems of capitalism and xenophobia and how it corrupts nature and all of us. Told with the most amazing visuals ever committed to film. So happy the films do well at the box office, we will see the completion of this saga and I think it will blow out minds when we get to the end. Cannot wait! Cameron is a legend.
I saw this in 3D on a massive IMAX screen and from the moment I put my 3D glasses on until I took them off again I was completely immersed in the world of Pandora again. This second film is my favourite, I even bought the book The Art Of Avatar The Way Of Water.
If you watch the extended scenes, Neytiri was actually very close to killing Spider. But Jake stopped her

The truth is that I think Neytiri would have killed him at the time, she has never loved him and has never cared about Spider, she believes that because he is the son of the demon Quiaritch he will be the same,In the comics she always tried to keep him away from her children, especially Kiri, and whenever something bad happened she blamed Spider.
this is so SAD! but i hope we get more closure to what happened in the 3rd film 💓

My prediction with Kiri most likely being Eywa's avatar. She will be able to do what Eywa did at the end of the first movie with the animals but with a hole planet. Tell every Tulkun to create a tidal wave, tell a forest to create a hurricane, anything you can think of. A druid able to fight an army of sky people on a cataclysmic scale if needed. Maybe that's too woo woo for Cameron but it's what I'm hoping for.

When I first watched avatar I was to young to understand at the time,But I visited it later and was hooked then I watched the 2nd in theatres and now I can't wait for avatar 3 next year,p.s James Cameron already started filming avatar 4 an avatar 5 is to soon start production

I bought the game (Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora) day one and I absolutley love it. It is a game you definitely have to be invested in simply because there is SO much to do.

Each clan has their own sacred tree, linked to Eywa. (All their Godess) The forest tribes tree is where Jake became Navi, where Grace joined Eywa and Grace then confirmed she was actually with Eywa & that she is in fact real. They just didn't show us what Grace saw. Eywa is definitely Kiris special jesus child who will be a big help for the future fights/defense of Pandora.
All the NaVi people need to band together to fight the humans. I believe Kiri, the daughter of Ewya & Grace will be a key player, someone who plays a very important role.
The humans plan is to take over Pandora this time, so they will probably plan to kill most Navi. However, first they have to take out the main Navi threat & leader of insurgence. Remember Jake being a marine in his human life, helps the Navi alot with knowing the enemies ways of thinking, their tactics, strategies, ruthlessness to nature & goddesses beautiful creatures, such as the Tokunn.
I had a soft spot for Loak (mini Jake) instantly, since he's so much like Jake & reminds me of Jake in 1st movie, in many ways. Also noticed & liked how the kids acted and looked more like, who they took after too.For example Neteyam the golden child, was perfect Navi son who inherited 3 fingers like his mom, whereas Lo'ak has 4 like Jake/humans, (Also, thumbs aren't fingers so 4 was correct) he also was more interested in guns & closer to Spider i believe, since they had nicknames for one another. Very upset and angry over many of Spiders choices after everything he saw & or caused being done.
I truly loved this movie and hope they release the 9 hour uncut version, because I'd love this movie to be longer.
Also to be fair on Jake, the humans would have eventually attacked them, since they would eventually hunt their Tokunn spirit siblings. Hunting Tokunn was always about funding.
Even though it also broke my heart with Neteyam & especially the ending scene with him and his parents. I bawled like a big baby after losing Neteyam. 🥺😢😭💔
Also no your incorrect, Netiryi would have DEFINITELY killed Spider no hesitation.

@@Centane Erm no she was totally acting as any grieving mother would in that moment, she's had enough and lost too much. First her sister, father, home, land, then her first born son Neteyam. Netiryi has also never really bonded or accepted spider. Which is sad but understandable. There was no way she was risking losing Kiri too, so unfortunately she did what needed to be done. As a mother myself i can't even imagine or fathom the pain of losing a child. Let alone having to deal with saving 2 others minutes after that devastation.
Sorry but there was no room for chill after that, her eye's showed she meant business & every single word. Netiryi is a fierce warrior mother who'd do anything to protect her babies.😢 😫😭

Killing the soldiers at the end of the first movie would not have prevented this. Remember they were already growing an Avatar body for Quaritch before he died on Pandora. They were always planning to bring more armies to Pandora to colonize it.
In 20 years ppl are going to claim a Mandela effect that this movie used to be "The Way of THE water", bc I hear so many ppl saying it that way.

If I'm honest, Kiri didn't really work for me visually. Her character model and/or Sigourney Weaver's modified voice was a bit too Uncanny Valley for me.

The destruction of the hometree in the 1st movie always gets me. Cold blooded murder of the innocent and Quarridge plays it as if its just another tuesday for him. The music and Neytiris pain when her father dies makes it almost too hard to watch.

Jake is not exactly the greatest parent. He has made Lo'ak the odd one out constantly and basically parentified Neteyam to his detriment and eventual death. I genuinely expect Lo'ak to receive Neteyam's treatment in the next movie, as the now older sibling.
“But Jake knows nothing else but handling his family like a unit! He's trying his best!" Uh huh. Yeah. Still not the greatest dad. Just because you are trying your best as a parent doesn't make you exempt from criticism.
It would be best if you watch the next sequel in cinemas.

I think she might have killed Spider. She never liked him. Everyone else does though. The only thing that would give her pause is Kiri's affection for him. But in that moment, she was trying to save Kiri, so I don't think she cared.

@@Centane He's trolling. Avatar 2 made over 2.3 billion dollars and is currently the #3 highest grossing movie of all time. Part 3 has already been shot and would've come out even if 2 wasn't successful. It's coming out next year. But The Way of Water was SO successful that the studio approved parts 4 and 5 about a month after its release. Everyone involved, including James Cameron and Zoe Saldana, has said that the third movie will be MUCH better than the the second.
