Great tip. Able to fix sound issue myself..

Back here to like the video😘
I’ll be darned, it worked.
this works thanks
😇
Thanks, I had a movie playing and had no sound from a SD in a USB drive. I follow your direction to switching digital sound out from auto to PCM and it works. I deleted the movies five times and redownload it, I was really getting irritated. So again thank you and other the people for showing us how to figure out the problems for free. One-time I called to get help they wanted to charge me almost $15 just to tell me how to fix a problem.
Yep, switching to PCM did the trick.
P
Very nice
😎
"Check the settings"
THANK YOUUU FOR THE IDEA😍😁😃
This may be what I’m looking for, when using an Elgato to records games, the sound from the game is being recorded just not being outputted through the tv, so when I get back I’m gonna give this a try. I hope this works
Tq so much
😇
Thank you very much. The new Apple TV 4k was playing the TV sound through my homepods and i almost thought that my Optical system had stopped working. Life saver
my sound options/settings is completely greyed out. it is not a smart tv and I can't find any info
Not sure why this is happening, try turning off and on your TV, or unplug it from power and plug it back in. If you're still having problems, please contact LG customer support.
I'm not given a menu choice after I click on optical
Worked awesome 😎
Solved the issue in just a few minutes!
Cute toys on the left hahaha
If this doesn’t work just reset to factory settings. I tried everything so I just got fed up and reset everything and it worked. Sure I had to redo my picture settings but it was worth it
yeah, just reset. got tired of trying to figure it out after my 3 yr old held our remote
I feel you dawg
Just worked for me thank you, nothing else would
I have a LG 75UJ657A I have just replaced all 3 boards and I still have no picture. No menu
The screen is not black. All three boards are new. The only sound that is heard is just the music after it’s been on for a 5 min with no picture. Any suggestions.
The problem started with just the LG logo on the screen when I turn on.
I think you can make a case for LG yo send you a new one...
After pressing sound i don't see Ddolby atmos , only sound mode settings
If you can change the sound mode to PCM, then it is ok
I have a option stereo but when i keep in its having low sound compared to dolby. So shall i continue with dolby or change to stereo mode in set top box?
does it not work in dolby mode?
Yeah working
@@nithinnayak4753 If everything works in Dolby mode, no point changing to PCM
You can also unplug the TV from the wall for about 5-10 minutes and TV will reset itself
Had the no sound issue using arc from receiver to TV and sound from both speakers and TV didn't work
Same this only thing that works for me
My lg tv is not a smart tv . When I connect it to a home theatre using aux it doesn't get any sound . How should I resolve it ? Model is - 32lj523d
1) Make sure the port your using on your TV is actually an output port, and 2) Make sure your TV "knows" that it needs to output audio through that port.
My sound works on all my other inputs ranging from video game consoles to the native apps. I can't get sound out of my old cable box. Tried everything from settings, switching HDMI ports (and ever HDMI cables) and reseting the box. Nothing works. I had this issue before but a new optical cable fixed it. I think my cable box is just old and shot. Can't think of anything else except a factory reset but I don't want to calibrate all my inputs again, especially if they work fine.
Go into the settings menu of your cable box - audio (or sound) settings, switch the audio format to stereo or PCM.
@@AvantreeActually had to reset my A/V setting using the triple tap on the mute button. Unfortunately it resets all inputs so you have to recalibrate everything again which sucks if you have multiple devices. Tried what you recommended before posting here but the reset I did worked, really weird.
@@G_Rad_Ski Perhaps contact LG? they'll probably have a better explanation.
@@G_Rad_Ski This Triple tap on the mute av reset is the only thing that worked for me, thank you.
@@G_Rad_Ski Thanks a lot man, I tried everything but couldn't solve this problem. I saw your comment about the mute button triple tap and now the sound is back on my TV.
Hi Dear ....I have LG dightal singage 47'' LED i am using it with Anroid Box...looks Cool but the orgional remote is not working with TV only Android remote is working....Can you help....Model no LG 47LW10BS
You'll probably need to recalibrate the remote to the TV, please contact LG.
i watched this and the sound just came back wth
Don't have an optical cable. How do I set up HDMI ARC and get that to work? I see the system there, I have the ARC HDMI port from the TV to the LG OLED C1 to my Sony stereo ARC TV out. No sound.
Need to allow "CEC" in your TV settings menu.
That's not it. Went into the settings and it was already on. Ugh...this is really frustrating.
Give LG a call?
I've heard their customer service is terrible...next thing to try is using an optical cable. See if that works.
I ve got the same problem with my LG G3 with a Sony Dolby Surround Set! Arc on arc with a HDMI cable but i see the mute icon appear on my tv screen! Do you already resolve it with a HDMI cable???
What can I do without its original remote control
Should still be able to do the same thing with a universal remote
I stream MKV Movies from HDD on this TV LG OLED55BX9LB. Always i dont have a Audio Signal:-(
Did you try the method in the video?
This setting's is not available on my TV
How to fix it
May I know your TV model number?
@@Avantree I have the same problem and my TV's model number is 42LG5300-ZB
@@KauppilaSteffe Hi there! Sorry, we're not totally sure for that model. We would recommend contacting their customer service for help.
Omg 🙏
How to get sound back on my LG TV
try 1. unplug & plug TV, and 2. Factory reset if 1 doesn't work...
Good advice, moved too fast!
If no picture showing how fix
Give LG a call
Dude mine was lg 4k tv which it supports videos smoothly but not support audio??
What do you mean? No audio came out?
@@Avantree means whenever i play 4k videos it only supports ongoing pictures but not give any audio output
@@Avantree and it shows "audio format not supported"
what if i loose sound temporally when using apps?
Hi there, what's your setup look like?
@@Avantree I'm talking through the TV speakers. Sound is fine when on cable, go to any app, youtube, hulu, netflix, amazon the sound drops like every 30-60 seconds for like 1-2 seconds. So bad I run an old apple tv through a hdmi for streaming.
@@ev1558 If it's through the TV speakers, it might be compatibility issues with the apps or something else specifically with the TV. You'll probably have to contact the customer service for the TV to find out. Sorry about that!
I've tried everything this video says and still doesn't work
try factory reset.
No sound with the Spotify app everything else works great
This does nothing.
LG SJ800V left speaker is mute.
This may be a hardware issue. Please contact LG support for more assistance.
@@Avantree i fixed problem already.
Just did sound test and then start work. This is annoy problem on that tv, it's happened many times, but this time av reset did nothing
@@juhopentti9572 Glad that you got it to work!
I was watching Tom Cruise's "Top Gun" movie and I increased the volume on my tv and think I ruined the speakers I tried doing a sound test but it didn't work
Try unplug & plug and factory reset first
@@Avantree I tried doing it and I still didn't get any sound
@@samuelmedranocaballero9704 I think it might be time to give LG a call...
Why am I here? you may ask. Well, I had some jack headphones connected to my TV and I had no idea, of course my TV speakers wouldn't work... 👁👄👁
It depends on the TV, but in general, if you use headphones with the TV, the TV speakers will not work
@@Bugsitogamer There is a workaround if you want to have sound through speakers and headphones at the same time. However, you will need to purchase external speakers for your TV. Watch here: ruclips.net/video/8WLuuOqr9H4/видео.html

Contact LG?
Too fast!!!!!
We'll slow it down next time :)
😄😄😄😄😄😄😂😂😂
Ddolby lol typo
I mashed mute and I can not unmute it
None of this helps at all. An I'm using spectrum 😒. Fuck it imma just get a new tv. Thanks
Reset your spectrum.
Also, in your spectrum menu there should be an option to fix HDMI output audio format, try changing that to PCM/stereo.
way too fast...had to watch and keep stopping to read...music iritating!
Did it work though...?
This is so fast I could barely read let alone comprehend a waste of time
There's always the playspeed option on youtube :)
Firstly, optical doesn’t carry Dolby vision. I can’t believe people think the fix is to go backwards to using toslink. And secondly, PCM stereo? That’s your fix? This whole idea sucks. As does the music.
Or you know, you can always just mute the video and call LG. Your impoliteness won't do any help. Yes it's not a perfect solution and it won't save the world but it did help solve some of the issues. Have a nice day.
Thanks
