    When I got my non-running 1988 318, the steering free wheeled like yours. Once I got the engine running, and hydraulic pressure built back up, it became operational. I haven't watched the whole series yet, but I hope you don't dismantle that steering control valve for no reason. Good luck.

      Mark wellll…. ummmmm…. Through the magic of creative video editing I wasn't really going to disclose....that you are absolutely correct!! Mine had sat for so long all the fluid drained out and most likely was just fine. Used replacement installed now and works great.

      @@jcwildwood Oh well, it's a good learning experience, but you look like you have enough projects, to get the experience from. Watching your videos, I'm sure this isn't your first rodeo. Entertaining, keep up the good work. Love the Case tractors too. I always wanted a big wheel, but I had a refurbished 210. Nice, but once you have power steering, it's hard to go to non-power. Sold the old girl off after getting the 318.👍

    Good job. I’ve got to do the one on my 265. Not as bad as yours so this video gives me hope
