Kia Sonet X Line 2022 starts at ₹ 13.39 lakh - ₹ 13.99 lakh (Ex-Showroom, New Delhi). Kia Sonet X Line is based on Sonet top model GTX+ and it costs ₹ 20,000 more than an equivalent GTX+ variant that it's based on. Sonet X Line gets cosmetic changes to interior and exterior of the car whereas mechanically car remainthe same.
Kia Sonet is based on Hyundai-Kia K2 platform that also develops various Hyundai's and Kia's cars which sell in India and across the globe.
All New Kia Sonet X Line gets two engine options. The first one is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine which produces 118 Bhp and 172 Nm of torque. The second one is 1.5-litre diesel which produces 113 Bhp and 250 Nm of torque. The Sonet X-Line is only available with automatic gearbox options, which means that the petrol variant is offered with the 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox while the diesel gets the 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

I have recently booked Sonet GTX+ in Black color.
But I’m double minded with X-line color, would you advise on this?
Is it good to maintain or you face any problems with it?
Good choice. Please don't buy xline because you have to take a lot of care of the paint and after sometime it becomes a headache..

Thanks for introducing the X-Line variant of KIA Sonnet. Luckily your's and mine liking seems to be same.
Probably, if deliveries are going to be easy, may be this will be an addition. We'll also prefer Diesel power train, but with manual transmission. It's prudent to buy too-end variant, as one don't require any additional accessories.
So, keep on traveling.

I love this Kia sonnet x-line and I want to buy it but 17-17.50 lacs for compact suv is slightly more. If rear seats were little big and comfortable then for sure I would have booked this 👍💯
By the way can you tell me how is the rear seat comfort?
Go for seltos mid variants htx , it's bigger version of sonet, you can't get xline though for this price range but more roomier rear seats n boot space plus almost all features

Would be helpful to know - what was the waiting period for this variant?
Booked GTX 3 months back in Gurgaon, yet to get any info on potential delivery date.
There is a waiting period of 3-5 months for the car.......We took delivery of Xline but we don't recommend you to buy it because its so tough to maintain the matte finish paint.....
@@WorldofWheelsind Thanks a bundle for the info. Yes, checked the new video posted in the channel on matte finish maintenance - that's an eye opener. It seems the matte paint is good from far, but actually far from good!
