    That's a lot of snow over a short period of time. Being out in the elements you need to really bundle up. Stay safe and thanks for sharing!

    Agree that there is something strangely relaxing about plowing snow, especially at night when it is snowing heavily and other than the sound of your unit, it is absolutely quite

    That is some awesome plowing at 7:00, the weight bucket was key, Im surprised that those straps held up to keep the plow in place.

    Hi Norman very cool idea with the plow blade on the bucket..... I've been trying to figure out how to do that on my allis Chalmers WD45. A guy could spend a bunch of money on a blade and put it on the bucket but I want to make something and be able to remove it easily cause sometimes I like to scoop the snow into piles..... COOL video

    • @Isavetractors
      @Isavetractors  7 лет назад

      Thanks! I like the snow plow set up too. I am like you I want to be able to easily remove it to scoop snow. I need to figure out a better way than the ratchet straps. While secure, it is the longest part of the installation and removal process. I may switch to chains. Then at least I don't have to wrap up 4 ratchet straps when I take it off.

    Nice job Norman!! I'm pretty cold blooded though and I"m thinking a cab would be nice. I'm also thinking by now (12-31-18) you've probably got the snow blower fixed :) LOL!!

      Normal people would think we're nuts for wishing there was more snow. but I agree. The more snow, the better!

    On s'y croirait, une chouette vidéo encore. Là où je me trouve on a de la chance lorsque nous avons 20cm de neige. Il faudra malgré tout que je trouve le temps de bricoler de quoi dégager un passage, histoire de m'amuser un peu avec mon MF1200 Garden lol...

  • @woodcutter4670
    @woodcutter4670 5 лет назад

    You may want to consider adding a strip of heavy rubber, like from an old conveyor belt to the top of the blade to deter the snow from coming back over the top

  • @littleblue4x4

    does the ford have a locking differential option? I live in maine also and it was a tough storm because it was so sticky. Great video!

    • @Isavetractors
      @Isavetractors  7 лет назад

      No it doesn't have a locking diff. I had to sit on the fenders a couple of times to unstuck myself

    yes the led's are great lighting and I have one friend of mine who doesn't like them cause they don't melt the snow on the lenses, I have em on 2 of my machines.

  • @brianphilbrook5262
    @brianphilbrook5262 7 лет назад

    Like the LEDs definitely gotta get em. How’d you like going from no snow to 18? Lol. We ended up with 12 up here. Are you gonna show the repair to the snowblower?

    do you think the plow on the loader works better than just a plow? I was debating making a mount like yours for my loaders

    • @Isavetractors
      @Isavetractors  5 лет назад +1

      The plow on the loader works much better. I can pile snowbanks 6 feet high

    Two things do vibration & heat shorten the life of these?, I only get a few hours out of a standard bulb, n these are bout 3x price.

    • @Isavetractors
      @Isavetractors  7 лет назад

      No the vibration and engine heat will not affect LED bulbs. They are much more durable and long lasting than traditional bulbs

Sold tne tractor....regret it now...so bought an old lgt 145 lkke yours here. If i coukd figure out hiw to put the deck to front motor pully, ill be miwing soon! Cant figure it out. Those nice tractors are for display for all of my guests. I clean em off everyday like a car dealership. But I agree I need more outbuildings. The past few years though I have been building stuff for my wife like hay barn, horse barn 1, horse barn 2, and you guessed whats this year...horse barn 3.

      Honestly, Garden Tractors is the perfect way to cultivate STEM which is a big push in schools. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Have you parents email me if they have questions. This is the best activity for a kid to get into!
