    Question for anyone… I have a phase 4 with front and rear bridgelock bars. I need advice for help on holding consistently low…. Anything out passed 50 yards I seem to lock and get stuck low I don’t think it’s a bow weight issue but I’m more so wondering if I could move my rear bar around to help tilt my bow while in draw ?

    Sure Loc did metal tapes out to 150+ (if your bow is fast enough to support it, mine is not even close with that short a tape)
    As a measure of your current state and as a way to get fit some kind of round would probably help, 50m WA round would give you a gauge and fitness. An NFAA round would give you volume, fitness and some field practice, if you can find (or make) a challenging/slopy course, it can give you setup check and practice, 60+ plus yards at a spot on 30+ degree slope takes work

    @timconnor13 try shorten your draw length just a hair. 1/4-1/2". Your micro jitters are coming from you elbow being hyper extended. It's like hitting muscle failure when doing a plank with your arms locked out.

    What size pins are you runnin’?

  • @c.a.m.matherly9958
    @c.a.m.matherly9958 5 месяцев назад

    A little trick to get more yardage, put your single pin at 20 take your tape off put the 20 yard tape next to the pin and below the pin, add a dot to match where 30, 40 and so on, is 10 yards incriminate and wherever your pin is set let's say 100 yards you'll have a dot for 110 and so on, very accurate as that is what I use in my MBG single pin

    That Alaskan XT is shooting those arrows perfectly straight off the bow, except for that 1 arrow with the pink vanes at 130 yds, but that could be the wind. I absolutely love shooting mine!

    Michigan TAC had a 130 yard shot on the Sitka course. It was the only target I didn't have a yardage mark for and the only target I missed all weekend.

  • @TimGruver-o3n
    @TimGruver-o3n 5 месяцев назад

    To gain 3-4 yards possibly 5 is aim at the very top of the target like the moose. It's probably 16-18" from the spine down to the low side of the 10 ring.

  • @jamierolls1919

    As always great video Tim. Soild down to earth content. Lengthening the DL a touch will turn the 'micro jitters' into slower sweeps.

  • @kip.k

    Micro jitters is tension caused by over aiming. Get the pin there , trust it, and focus in on the target where the pin starts to disappear. It will feel like it completely stops.
