I have a NJ Series Warlock reverse headstock and the serial only has 4 digits on the backing plate and 6 numbers carved into the neck. Gotoh Floyd with diamond inlays. Have no clue what year it was produced.

How much would a bc rich warlock platinum pro red cost?

so I come across this almost 8 years later,...
that warlock (if ya even still have it) is an '87-''88 per the spotting feature; the 2 bolts behind the nut.
That also had a flat mount Floyd Rose.
I had one exactly like that but all black.
-btw, many BCR aficionados believe '88 to be the last good year for imports.

I certainly loved this guitar. I have owned two identical ones in my life. My first one I actually put a better pickup in the bridge position, but this second one sounded just fine.

@@dq7860 most say a hard NO. I can only say I know they changed in '89; just look at the back of the headstock and you can see there used to be 3 pieces that made up the headstock...

@@dq7860 The serial (most people are usually referring to the one on the neck plate) mean nothing. Those came out of a box at random; from this box or that box and sometimes left over and used years later. Three things to look for (on the outside) revealing it's a CA:
1. there will be a TM over the tail of the BC Rich logo on the headstock.
2. there will be a trem cavity whereas that was a special request order only with Bernie.
3. there won't be a neck plate at the neck joint, rather the bolts will go right through the body to the neck like an Ibanez.
4. IF you're willing to take the neck off (I usually don't unless there's a 'fix' need) Class Axe New Jersey blah blah blah will be written on the inside of the neck joint.
I really shouldn't be buying any more guitars but I still want another Warlock and another STIII,... ; \

Do you know what year they changed serial numbers starting in F90...…? Mine literally looks exactly like yours with the exception of the NJ Series font and serial number.

It was made outside of the US, prior to the year 2000 if the serial begins with "F".
