These are not controller SDs just really awkward spots where either you miss waveland by 1% of the angle or accidentally airdodge because you didn't expect to be actionable midair, happens after stale hits and strange slideoffs
This was on track to be a classic Mango/HBox set, the two were playing so well and almost better than at their prime. And then that last game happened lmao. Which, if I'm being totally honest, I'm actually really happy about. It was hilarious to watch these two almost morph into entirely different people after such hype games. Sucks to see so many mistakes in Top 8 from both players, but it definitely made the viewing experience much more entertaining lol

Man both played dogwater at the end but i'm just glad that they're still here. Without them there's a certain spice missing y'know? After mang was bashed by Zain i knew that he'd take the entire thing again and just tuned out. It's to me as if the energy just fades out of the room when they're eliminated because they make me feel so vivid as a spectator. I hope that Zain, Cody, Jake and co. can really establish themselves as these big personalities in the future because i currently don't know where my motivation to keep watching is without these two bearded suprise bags.

Honestly I think this is a very fair criticism and I was super aware of it while it was happening. For what it’s worth I actually have been cheering for Hbox a lot more lately (which you can see in the SDJ set) and I really value him as a competitor. It’s harder to balance the bias than people might think (especially when a lot of people want us to be talking about mango) but I’m working on it! Valid criticism!

there was a LOT of adjustment on Hbox's end, you could see he was sucessfully stuffing the more tempered approaches from Mango. So mango ended up mixing in some more straightforward aggression to keep Hbox on the backfoot; the approaches with the falling upairs wouldn't have worked otherwise.
I just realized all the Foxaganda is crazy--Puff literally can't camp Fox. Fox has lasers so only he can camp Puff (Not saying either player was playing lame or camping, they weren't--just observing)
I mean puff can absolutely ledge stall Fox. It's not great if at an even game state or if Fox has a lead, because of lasers. But Hbox is incredibly hard to approach at ledge and if you don't think that... I mean, go watch more sets.
