Thanks for the tip about the #1251 bulbs. I had assumed they were flashers (the sockets were all empty when I got the game) and put flashers in, and it blew a fuse if memory serves correctly. Now I know why. Great video--really appreciate hearing your comments on the game. I agree it is much overlooked. I owned a Space Shuttle at one time. We played the heck out of it. Now we play the heck out of Space Station. Even greater replayability!
I think this game is very underrated. In my opinion it has some of be best light shows of any of the machines from that era, maybe only Elvira and the party monsters out does it. Also the animations they did in the alphanumeric display are also very neat.
I passed on trading to get one of these for Whirlwind instead (not a bad decision!) but still hope to get one someday. Looks excellent in LED! I started using the apron lighting on my games and it gives it a great extra touch for cheap! Great job!
@ 13:25 You can switch between "space" and "shuttle" on the right target by flipping both flippers. If extra ball award on one or the other side you can be defensive and make sure that the opposite side stays lit so you don't accidentally randomize the side that the extra ball is on, especially if you have only one target left to hit.
Wow, a game from 1097... middle age pinball ;)... (nice typo) Anyway, it was a cool interesting game with different setup (missing inlanes) and... greeeat music in my opinion.
Rob is around for eye candy! He actually comes around to help out here and there...he's not paid...he just likes to hang around...when he comes, I film!!
Rocky is actually filmed and game delivered...have not had time to edit it and put in the green screen (of course you KNOW I will do that---its Rocky!)
Hi Todd....how much maintenance would a typical pinball require once installed in the home? I'd love one but I'd be worried about being able to keep it working. I'm in Northern Ireland so local support from you wouldn't be easy!!!! Still patiently waiting for an Asteroids Dx to come in :) :) :)
+davy K Typically, almost any maintainence is simple. When we sell a machine, we inclue extra bulbs, fuses, rubbers and even a solder pencil. That will take care of almost any issue that develops. Our free phone service solves 90% od any issue and we are available in evenings too!
All Williams System 11 games use the same sound chip, which was the same ridiculously widespread and popular chip in many electronics, including consoles and computers like the Sega Genesis, Atari ST... the list is too long for me to attempt listing haha. It is however a different composer on this than on Pinbot.

I came here because this table is confirmed to be released in Pinball FX 3 soon. I hope they will use the green displays like in this version!
The William's table displays are all orange by default, however you can choose to override the color by going into the UI settings.
This machine is a true piece of art.

For my money Barry Oursler is the best pinball designer ever. I can dig Ritchie and Lawlor stuff, but Oursler's games are ace.

I've got one of these, incredible game, Sometimes however the space station will stay spinning around or stop at the incorrect place, any ideas?

You need to reflow your optic board underneath. Cold solder joints most likely. Todd mentions that in the video.
