with respect, naka sensei in other clips ties belt double on the back instead of single. soon wkf will define rule how not to tie the belt in the competitions. i see quite some variations how to tie belts in kata competitions in the recent years and decay already.

Ippon-jime is my usual way of tying my belt since white belt.
最近の、袖も着丈もスソも長過ぎの組手選手達は中先生の着こなしを見習って欲しい。
一説には黒人選手が拳サポ足サポと袖口スソ口の間から黒い肌が見えて相手に反応されるため、袖スソを長くして肌を覆うのが欧米で定着し逆輸入されたとのことだが…。
少林寺拳法だと殆どのひとは一本締めですよね。
やはり演武が多いのが影響してるんですかね？
