Yeah you were spot on about the sparseness of women characters interacting in games. I really loved the Lost Legacy and the dynamic between Chloe and Nadine. I just want to see them again 😭 (and Sam too I guess. He was a cool surprise in the game)
I recently finished playing all the Uncharted games for this first time and Lost Legacy was the only one I immediately restarted the second the credits ended. Your video summed up all my thoughts on what makes this game so incredible and I loved how you highlighted how much work goes into every layer of this game! (Shoutout to the environmental artists, the true GOATs of ND). Also the bit about Nadine's arms killed me because same lol. Chloe and Nadine's friendship, their banter, and their character growth were so incredibly well thought out I hope that we see more of them. Thank you for this video!
I actually recently played both Uncharted 4 & Lost Legacy & both are IMO straight up the best of the franchise. I flew through LL in two days & was struck by how much I loved the ensemble cast
Good video! For me, Uncharted 4 was the best of the series. And basically for the same reason you like Lost Legacy: the relationships and characters. I love how they build a "second storyline" based on Nate's lie to Elena, and how they explore what they are afraid of losing (each other) and how that relationship is saved. Also, Uncharted 4's ending... The soundtrack, the feeling of accomplishing something great, but still feeling the emptiness after everything is done, then Nate telling the awesome adventures to his daughter, and saying goodbye to a character and his unbelivable story with the last shot of a photo from the very first game that started it all.... I even got emotional just typing that. It's a great, great game!
Apologies for the late reply! But honestly, it is the *thinnest* line in terms of picking either Lost Legacy or UC4 as my favourite, for me they are both 10/10 games I have no faults with. Couldn't agree more with everything you've said!

As an Indian, I'm so glad Lost Legacy exists. There are hardly any games set in India (and/or exploring Indian myths), so we don't feel particularly seen or heard. LL doing both was insanely gratifying.

I really like Nadine and Chloe’s relationship. I think that’s probably why this particular game stands out so much to me from the other ones. I think if Nathen is gonna be replaced. I’d absolutely love for these other characters, specifically Chloe and Nadine, take the lead from now on. Seriously they have a lot more adventures to go on and a lot more to tell. I've been replaying alot of uncharted over quarrintine and its been real comfort to come back to after long shifts of work and university. Your video has done a great job giving credit to many of the artists/creatives that get lost in these big releases and the work that goes into them. I look forward to seeing what you produce next
@@linesinmotion honestly the only 4 wins out over lost legacy is lost legacy feels like the middle 6 hour chunk of an uncharted game. There's not alot of build up or massive climax at the end for all the characters involved but the run time does account for that which is ehy it feels thr middle chunk of a game rather than a complete story likebthe others. That being said, it absolutely amazes me what they accomplished with lost legacy mainly showing us the audience that uncharted can absolutely continue on with its amazing cast. Cloe and Nadine have such a sisterly buckering type of relationship which we desperately need more of in video games. I will say your video actually got me wanting to play lost legacy again so thank you for that and also you did amazing job in this video keep up what your doing especially since it feels like every video you do is about somrthing your passionate about ehich is awesome. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Love the video, gives me a new perspective on The Lost Legacy. I hope one of the next games of Naughty Dog will be another Uncharted adventure. Loved the Uncharted games, especially the multiplayer part, 2 was really fun, same as 3, even though I still remember the op double barrel shotgun when you jump shoot xD.

What an incredible video (discover recently your channel through your brilliant Natsuki character study). You've totally nailed all the things that make this game - and the franchise - a fantastic experience. Like you said, it remains sadly all too rare to have co-lead female characters in AAA games and we only can hope the industry will follow Chloe and Nadine on that path. As for the game itself, it really is a combination of the previous ones but also a new beginning. Maybe I'm greedy but I really want more of this duo (well, ok, Sam can tag along ^^) and I'm sure there are some great stories to tell (and some lost cities Nate left too) and also maybe some ship to build more (because Chlodine is really something)...

Weirdly enough I played every Uncharted game to date... besides Lost Legacy. Didn't really put much thought towards buying it. If I had a favorite in the series it would be Uncharted 2. That answer is common yes, but for good reason. Uncharted 2 felt like a really fun roller coaster that after getting off I just went "Ok again, but this time without the seatbelt." AKA: Crushing.
Uncharted 2 is so good, like AMAZING. Easily one of my favourites! At the time it came out, I couldn't stop playing it.. Can't imagine how the Lazarević boss battle was on crushing, oof
@@linesinmotion Oh yeah Lazaravitch felt like ripping off finger nails and replacing them with fire ants. I wouldn't recommend fighting Lazaravitch on crushing to anyone with a sense of self preservation. The rest of the game was still golden though everything felt difficult but fair enough to be passable. It didn't feel like a mode for masochist, even though thats kind of what it is.
The production value is too good for a channel this size. Glad I could be here before you get bigger
I haven't played a single second of any Uncharted game, though your videos are so good that I didn't even hesitate to watch(and enjoy) this one.

God, the memories of Uncharted 2's multiplayer blinsided me in ways I didn't expect.
