Hi Robert The bamboo shoots you harvested today were so plump and fresh, yet they weren't snapped up in a flash, which surprised me. I guess it was not the optimum time of the day to attract lots of customers at the gas station/bus stop. However, the positive outcome was that it meant you could take a few home to cook a delicious smoked sausage/bamboo shoot dish for yourself and no doubt Mic. The meal looked so delicious, yummy!

I was thinking at first, how to prepare and cook bamboo shoots...and there you were preparing and cooking it !! Thank you. From the previous video I saw you had quite a lot of peanuts. You can boil the peanuts with some pork bones, add a little salt and a delicious soup will emerge in front of you. Try it. Your chickens are quite noisy, must be busy laying eggs. You are very lucky Robert! You can pick up those bamboo shoots quite often though it’s seasonally growing. I love bamboo shoots, especially when sliced dried bamboo shoots are cooked tenderly with duck to serve with white noodles and ginger fish sauce! 😍😋. If you can’t sell them all, save for yourself to enjoy! We can do many dishes with bamboo shoots ! I see many RUclipsrs wrapping bamboo shoot peeling with meat & egg, but that’s my less favourite dish! 😅
