Hi Robert, I can tell you are in Vietnam but you are the ethnic minority of Vietnam. I used to backpack in N. Vietnam to visit Sapa and Red Dao villages and I can tell it’s tough on the mountain people and I hope that changed. I remembered the tour guides were these young children-girls who spoke great English bc there was an NGO there and people volunteered to help. I really appreciate tour content bc my great great grandparents were from the country side Northern Vietnam and through you I get a glimpse on how they would have lived.

Robert is really an exceptional man. All his work is an inspiration. His hard work to survive in the mountain deserves all the admiration that all his viewers give to him. If he is truly alone living in that mountain, it is even more incredible because of the much hard work in the effort in the filming of every episode. Just thinking of moving his camera, going back and forth just to film where he is going `and what he is doing. And the editing. Where does he do it when there is no power in that little cabin? How does he upload his videos??? That is why I was thinking there must be someone with him doing the filming.

You can also make corn sugar from corn tree just take those unwanted leaves of corn tree then pound it put water not too plenty then strain in and cook gradually to produce sugar
You are such a hard worker and very savvy too. I didn’t know you could make wind from corn. As a child my Dad would make choke cherry and dandelion wine. He had us kids pick the cherries and flower tops. I thought the dandelion was so very strong tasting, the choke wasn’t much better. Too strong for k me anyway. Hope you enjoy your wine.
