- I'm a COMPLETE Beginner at CS:GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive), never played 1 game before. But I wanted to be ready for CSGO 2. Did I look up any beginner guides? Hell no. I just fired up the damn thing & decided to play FIFTY GAMES of CS:GO, back to back to back. Here's what happened...

That Red vs Blue throwback unlocked core memories.
as you continuously shoot, the guns in this game follow a spray pattern. this pattern detatches from your crosshair, so the crosshair doesn’t really indicate where the bullets will go all the time. try shooting at a wall to see the pattern you need to follow.
Cs2 will have an option where your crosshair follows the bullets. Sounds cool, but looks like it’s seizure inducing.

@@Truls.bjorndal No, its a setting that doesnt require sv cheats, its inside the regular settings
@@endthepainnowplz4674 I kind of hope they drop that setting because it does make the game easier. I totally get it from an sv_cheats perspective but allowing it in comp is an odd choice.
Yeah, like the first 3-4 full auto shots are on the crosshairs, then the remaining rounds "jump" an inch or two higher on the screen
I've seen a bunch of other posts about this, but the key to accuracy in CS:GO is to not be moving while you shoot. The reason the P90 felt better is it doesn't have as much of a movement penalty to it as other guns. If you want to get fancy you can learn counter strafing to start shooting accurately faster. The second key is understanding each gun has a consistent recoil pattern you could learn, but in general if you pull down a bit while shooting you'll do fine.
Not moving and crouching adds accuracy but even so your crosshairs are not where your bullets are going when spraying. Learning recoil patterns is part of the skill.

As someone who has played this game for the better part of my life this video is just so wholesome to watch!
Some tips, look at head height, pull down when spraying on rifles to control recoil and rifles have recoil patterns, try to learn them!
After csgo experience,trials will never feel toxic again :)

Been playing CS longer than I’ve been playing Destiny. Those are my favorite games for sure, sometimes wish I still played them

although i loved the video. 4:40 is a perfect example of how i feel after this video. also, very nostalgic ,even tho i didn't put an insane amount of time on it, it was the first game i played when i moved over to PC 3 years ago, so its nice to see you do a "50 games" on it
I'd watch more of this as it was really wholesome and positive as CS can be frustrating to new players. It would be awesome to see you genuinely improve over time.
- Check out spray patterns by shooting at a wall without moving your aim & tap shooting at longer ranges to keep accurate
- Lift your crosshair off the floor! Headshots dominate
- Don't move and shoot at the same time
- Master Dust II.
- Play with the main rifles more (AK/M4)

Would love to see you learn CS Surfing. Also, 1v1 or arena servers are great for learning the gun play in CS. Man, I basically gave up 10's of thousands of hours in CS when Rocket League launched and have barely played since.. I may need to hop on CS later tonight.

60 hours of gameplay time is the number I came up with, many years ago. That was around the time it took to have a decent grasp on the game

Also FYI: Killcams/spectate on csgo aren't always accurate because they don't capture flick shots well. It makes for a silly time wondering wtf happened sometimes 😅

After your vid on the SonicFox drama that went on a couple days ago, I’d love to see 50 games of a fighting game! Street Fighter 6 just came out and it has a lot of ways for newer players to jump in and learn the ropes, and would make for a great addition to the series!
I sank a good amount of time into this game before gifting my life to Destiny, and the one thing I'd say is that the cheaper guns are fantastic early-match if you learn how to use them. MAC-10 is genuinely fantastic to use, and a couple of the shotguns like the auto shotty and Mag-7 can be pretty damn effective too.
Also, silenced weapons are just the best. M4A1-S over M4A4 every time
