Best crochet locs I've seen! I see no bumps at the base of her scalp which makes it more natural looking. I'll be giving this try...beautiful!
just finished a set. I'm slow but it took 8.5 hours total. Used freetress waterwave to match the Havana mambo faux locs. Came out beautiful. I palm rolled the ends to blend with waterwave hair for all those asking what she did with the ends.
I like that you just twisted the hair to the natural hair instead of braiding it. Very nice.

I wanted to do this to my mother's hair, but I worried about the roots--I didn't want her braid showing, but I also didn't want to put the extra tension on her hair by wrapping marley at the base. I can use your method to make it look seamless. Heck, I might even redo my own!

u know what else works good for natural hair edges? got to be glued products. i ONLY use them on edges not on my entire head, bc the hold is so strong, so i just want it on my edges to lay them down by the river, yas lol but im going to try these in my head im gonna do them. thanks for the awesome sauce tutorial!
