२०७९ साल मनाङ र तेन्की मनाङ मेथा पर्व Manang and Tenki Manang Archery festival (Metha) 2022 April 4

A major festival of Manang called Metha will celebrate for 4-5 days, It also known as the festival of archeries. It will celebrate after the end of winter season with the arrival of summer season. This festival will begin from upper Manang village, the biggest village among the 7 village in Manang Ngeshang municipality so after that it will celebrate in other six Manang village. People believe that during the ancient times in the himalayan region Nepal people used bows and arrows to hunt wild animals, but after some years as people started to follow Buddhism they start to believe in peace and harmony so they stopped to hunting. Now these bows and arrows are just used in festivals like this.
