On this build we decided to go with The WISECO FORGED "PRO TRU STREET" Pistons. Stock Rods and Stock Crank. They are not Billet as I mentioned. sorry for the mistake
All factory rods are forged. There only 5140 forged though not 4340 which is stronger. You won’t have a problem with what you have. Stock GM cast cranks and stock rods are pretty tuff!!
Looks good. Idk if you notice but kinda looks like that block has been froze at one time. Look at the bulge on the right lower side of the block. Somthing to look for 👍👍
Yea I made a mistake. I made the correction in the description. They are 4032 Forged pistons. Summit has them for 80 each. Depends on where you get them I guess. I got a great deal on them

Doing that with the main bearings (offsetting the two bearings) I thought was normal practice thats how my grandpa taught me to do it
Yessir . Thanks for tuning in

Thanks man We got it magnafluxed at the Machine shop. All good 👍🏼
@@spraym88 ok hopefully they magged down the sides of the block 👍👍
It may have a crack. It really looks like it has been swollen
Hopefully you had that block line honed atleast after changing those caps right??
I never changed the caps. Those caps came with the block. The old caps I show were from my old 350 block
I wasn’t hating I was just informing you. Also those are like 500$ a set there wiseco pro tru streets. NOT BILLET

No hating at all. Thats what RUclips is all about man. Helping each other. Thanks for your input brother
@@spraym88 yeh 4032 is the average new style forged piston material. There strong and expand much less than a 2618
Would be nice to see some assembly and not so much talk
Yes I will definitely work on that. Thanks man
I'm building same but with hbeam rods what's part #on them pistons
Wiseco Forged Pistons! Part # 5503A3. They are .030 over
