I would like to give that interviewer a good smack. So rude and ignorant. Did not even listen to what Morten and Mags were saying. A-ha are still around and were is Mr. So called Interviewer.
No civil interviewing skills are in his possession! What a biased interviewer. The 3 guys kept their civility and composure in replying to his provocative questions!
After all that arguing, the host introduces "Touchy!" to make fun of a-ha to the full. It's amazing how they managed to hold their temper throughout the whole interview.
They are so clearly uncomfortable with the questions and the interviewer continues to ask them about the same thing they’ve already answered several times. I’m surprised the interviewer is not more aware of how condescending his questions were.
Stay on these roads didnt do much> shouldnt he have done better research? Number 1 in Norway, number 2 in Europe,Italy & UK .Top 5 in Germany holland and so on - so a hit all over the world! where u from ? usa or europe ? they had many hits in the rest of the world outside usa so only in usa they are known for "take on me". But even in usa they actually had 2 hits bcoz the 2nd single "the sun always shines on tv" was a top 20 song so this makes them not a 1 hit wonder in usa 🎃. A-ha are true "musicians" that barely has bad songs on each their albums. Even the "bad" songs on an album are listenable. Besides they write all their songs themselves with a few songs co-written with someone else. Just listen to their album "east of the sun and west of the moon" or the album "memorial beach" for example and u can hear that it's totally different sounding (darker) than their previous album "stay on these roads" . "...but fairly protective of your music..." The interviewer states. Listening to Magne over the hassle, he says "yeah, but your questions are provocative." And usually when being provoked you will naturally get defensive. Mags was calling him out because, yes, the interviewer was trying to provoke them to start shit for the sake of TV. But we shouldn't be mad, because we should educate the ignorant, though it's a nice thought to believe that someone took this fool out back and gave him a little 'education' in a sense.
They where/are classier and smarter than that. Instead of waking off pissed, they just let that idiot embarrass and humiliate himself on TV, in front of millions for posterity.
Unprofessional interview it was. Whatever he had against a-ha, it was irrelevant to his job as an interviewer. He should've stay professional and he would have gotten the job done. That simple. But I hope he got fired after doing a horrible job by putting the three of them in the spotlight like that.

Also remember that they had the teenage boppers listening to their music too, and as the professional musicians they are, they recognize all their fans, including the teenage boppers. As they say in the first part of the interview, they don't want to be snobbish. The other singles from their third album are "Stay on these roads", "The blood that moves the body", "You are the one" and "There's never a forever thing". Go listen to them.
@@MrHzi I actually like Touchy!, too. It is a great live song. The video is a product of it's time. A lot of things we loved back then will be considered odd today. It was a time of joy and happiness.
I actually like that they can have a sense of playfulness and show the silly side of themselves on occasion---Touchy was one such song/video for them :)

The interviewer is a rude and incompetent idiot with no business having that job title at all. I sincerely and honestly hope that he lost his job after this, and is now flipping burgers in some fast food joint, maybe more suitable to his skills.
