Those "cold air intakes" pull engine compartment heat into your turbo. Which is pre-heating your hot air. Even a stock airbox is better than an open filter as far as heat is concerned.

What is the condition of your truck’s TCM? I have the same Sierra 2500 HD Duramax and Allison trans and the TCM failed and now the truck sits for months waiting, waiting, waiting for a part that does not exist in the US.
Go with the mcgaughy 9in lift or cognito lift and go widers they look way better.you go wider on that setup you need to trim or itll tear your fender and bumper up.
I appreciate what your channel is - but - I think you need to go to Copart and buy a ragged out duramax 6.6 and rebuild it with your own hands. Nobody wants to watch you spend money. I would rather watch you learn as you go. I will watch the vids from the guy who did the work.

You need the new K&N Pedal module! I Put one on my LML and makes a huge difference!! Takes all the lag out of the pedal !

This truck TCM failed years ago. It had DDS TCM when I bought the truck
