Just installed this 2days ago. It looks great and is solid, however with that being said it was kind of a pain to install. Trying to thread the 7/16 nut onto the mounting bolt behind the plastic center console was restating. Here’s a tip for that: get a long 7/16 box wrench, put tape on one of the opening and put the nut in the opening so it sticks to the tape then gently screw the bolt into the nut making sure not to press hard with the wrench and push the nut through the tape. All in all I’m happy with the product.
I just did this install today. I wish this video showed more about alignment and placement. What I did was secure one side and then attach the bridge plate. I made sure the bridge plate was level with a reference point on the dash. Then I drilled my holes for the opposite panel then attached. Also, you do not have to remove the AC/fan control assembly. The trim on the left and right knobs come off independently of the center control. The only other thing I would like them to change is to switch to black mounting hardware and the mounting hardware should be metric, not standard. Perhaps the mounting bolts for the bridge could be knobs for easier removal if needed. The hole size to drill is 1/4". Hope this helps.
I just did mine this weekend. I did same thing as far as leveling the center piece and drilled holes. Now the driver side is not level. Now gotta fix that.
I bought 4 plastic knobs and a 12” threaded bolt at Lowe’s and cut them into 1” pieces and glued them in the handles for the bridge so I don’t need any wrenches to remove it . Makes it way faster to remove it
I really wish that companies that make parts for Toyotas would use metric fasteners in the parts they make since all the other fasteners are metric and we all have metric tools.
Just received my panels and bridge yesterday, I’m super happy with them and now I’m off to install them, oh what size hole should I drill?? Thanks rago you guys are awesome!!!
The music sucks the console does not.

I agree with the hardware color being more specific on placement. First time installing so cant really "eyeball it"

Definitely getting one for my forerunner just subs as well
bet you would get much more people buying this if there was a no drill option. there's plenty of spots you can mount to without drilling holes.

This! All of this!
Everything is great but the background music. I would have thought it more important to hear the installer than someone's musical taste. Bummer!
I thought the camera work was very poor 🤣. They kept going for cinematic shots instead of showing what they are doing. And zero shots of them drilling
What radio mount is that?
What is the best cell phone mount for this?
Yes please, 2nd vote for a 3rd Gen Tacoma! Even have the same radio.
What are the bolt size on the bridge??

Are the side panels supported by only the plastic?
Yes, but rago designed it that they are bolted on, you need to drill holes, but I will say that it is solid, it’s a great product!!!
Did you end up drilling with a 1/4 inch bit?
@@mrbruns2619 Yes
Do you lose a cup holder because of that bridge I mean can you even fit a can of soda or a cup anymore?
You can. It would be much easier if your gear shifter kbob is smaller than the TRD one.
Will the Ram Mount you put on top of the bridge also attach to the storage panel holes towards the front above the Rago logo?
do you guys have a center console modular storage panel for jeep wrangler jk?
3rd vote for 3rd gen tacoma please
