This carpet factory will amaze you with its giant embroidery machines. Imagine each thread being woven together perfectly, creating beautiful and colorful carpets. The speed and precision of these machines is incredible, turning each carpet into a work of art. It is truly an industrial wonder, showcasing the limitless creativity and skill of humans.
Beautiful carpets, made as they have been for generations. By the look of the finished carpets, i am guessing this is the Axminster Carpet Company in England. Either that or Wilton, also in England.
My Grandmother had beautiful off white wool carpeting through out her home. Unfortunately, it had runners all over the place and we could only walk on the runners and wear white socks only. We couldn't wear shoes in the house, her furniture was covered in chintz and had plastic on that. Her house looked like a photo op for an upscale magazine. I loved my Grandmother dearly, but hated visiting her because we couldn't do anything.
If wool carpets are all the rage then why aren't farmers getting paid a decent rate for their wool?? Someone is making a crap load of money, and as usual, it's not the farmer.
It's quite obvious that it is going to be that way. Look at the raw wool and then look at the final product, the reason is there. I have worked my whole working life in a textile dyeing and finishing plant, both fabrics and yarn. A lot of expense and work goes into taking a bale of raw fibre and turning it into a piece of cloth for a specific purpose.

Manufacturers always make more money than farmers. Refining and crafting tae materials add more value than extracting/producing them.
