Nice...not many songs from Coil is played live by Toad....I think. Hope to see more
I'm so happy that Todd's '57 Les Paul Junior in satin vintage sunburst with single coil dog-ear P90 is still kicking around.
Coil is the bomb !!
Awesome.
Inspiring song 👏👏👏
We need a live dvd of all these amazing performances!
Brazil loves you brothers! ♥️

👍 Hermoso!!!
Always amazing live, I just hate how Glen insists on dropping the keys of their songs. They sound SO much better in the original key. I'm not a fan of that when any artist does it, unless it fits and makes the song sound better. As a guitar player, there is something superior about the resonance and natural harmonics inside the notes that were chosen in the first place. It's not like Glen is 70, he's still a young pup and can easily hit those older notes. I find it better when an artist will sing a hit differently or falsetto, but still plays it in the original key even if they can't hit all the highs.
Not being able to hit the high notes in a given song is precisely the reason why songs are dropped. He recorded most of these songs two decades ago and his voice has changed. Glen knows his voice and has preserved it much better than most pop/rock singers have over the years. He doesn't want to sing a song that strains or injures his voice, which would cause him to have to have surgery to repair it, or lose it. Also, in the process of making records, most producers have the band sing things a little higher than they are comfortable, in order to get that extra "energy" or "edge" out of the voice. This can be done a few times, but night after night will wear out the voice. This is normal. Asking him to change that will probably cause him to lose his voice.
@@harrywatson5783 Not to mention him suffering a SERIOUS injury and subsequent nerve damage to his left arm. He had to retrain himself on how to play in a way that would prevent further aggravation.
