飾らないボーカルの彼女の、喉から響く透明感のある歌声がすごく素敵。クセがあるわけじゃないのに1度聞いたらどこか惹き付けられる。見た目も素朴なのにそれが逆に私はすごく好き。後ろの人達も自由で体や楽器、機械、表情、独特の雰囲気、音楽ってこんなに多くのもので表現出来るんだって感動した。

There’s something weirdly perfect about this band, and i can’t figure out exactly what it is.. but i love it.

The music is dimensional. It’s interesting enough to be something you notice, your ears don’t skip over it like Top 40. At least that’s my take on it

I think 90% of the "I don't think I get this" comments would be solved by listening without watching... The songs, while creative/modern/distinct in so many ways, are really pretty straightforward classic pop. I get that it's hard to get over the wacky clothes, dance moves, and least front-persony front person in the history of pop. I love everything about it. Let your freak flags fly SuperO!!
"least front-persony front person in the history of pop" LOL. Yeah. The interviews with these guys are hilarious. Orono mostly looks bored and rarely says more than three or four words while her bandmates are rattling away. I don't know if I love everything about it, but it's catchy, poppy, and I don't feel like I wasted my time listening to it. This video was enough to make me say "who the f*** are these people?" and go look up their other RUclips videos anyhow. Love how KEXP always has these weird bands on for us to discover!
I suppose I'm showing my age here, but these kids are adorable.
Great ideas performed in a simple but highly effective manner. They also appear to be a communal, and seemingly ego-less organization.

Im from Lima Peru. Its 3:30 am hereand its friday. My classes start in a couple hours. I had a mental bteakdown and I was really sad. My gf destroyed me with a lot of things she told me. I was fucking sad. These guys may be weird, but they saved me. I was literally screaming like and crying like I never did. I felt my eyebrows were destroyed for crying and I barfed tears. Its so calculated, that you expect them to fail, but IT SOUNDS SO DAMN RIGHT.

When you observe superficially, you may think theres lack of spontaneity. But they overcome this first misundarstanding: here theres a calculated process that gets right to the point. Its a formula and it works very well.
I think spontaneity and calculated process do not go together. I observe superficially, I think no spontaneity. "They overcome the misunderstanding" means they fix this lack of spontaneity appearance. How? With a calculated process. I mean.. they're good but you are not making sense ^^
Maybe were lost in communication. But if you aloud me to say, i think we have aligned ideas about them. (they seem like an inoffensive formula, but they bring more than that.)

I fell in love with this band from the very beginning! They have a very positive vibe.
As a post 40 YO graduate of Pavement and B2S academy of the 90s and a current Reggae junky I've got to say Superorganism nailed it! Every song on this record is keen. Woo! Lyrics whimsical, ironic and cynical. Brings me back to 1996. All three of my little kids love it too. The only bad thing about this record is that there are not enough songs. Just keep spinning this record, listen to the lyrics, have an open mind and stare out the blinds shades.
Virgil Patches I would have appreciated more drawn out harmonies during the rising parts but I eat up anything that sounds like Beatles
They just do SUCH a great job with performing all the weird warps, effects, samples, rhythms, and vocal treatments just like the record. Definition of a professional act IMHO

Gen Z will definitely shake up the paradigm. There is child-like faith in this grouping of people. I see something here that could evolve into a Bjork or Tori Amos style of quirkiness that took the world by storm in the 90s. Don't knock this group just yet. Bjork went through her time in the Sugar Cubes before Debut and Post. Three albums down the road, they could be mainstream.
They are breaking all the rules even if they are fresh on their feet.
Great post. They achieve a very optimistic and confident feel with a slacker bourgeoisie attitude of the 90s. Almost the anti-ultra-pragmatism of the Millennials

She can definitely sing. A lot of people are in bands for different reasons, anyways. Other things to do and this just showed up in the algorithm. They're probably gonna need those rain coats though considering the way things are headed.
