True story: I installed/programmed/integrated a light management/control system at his house in Baar, Switzerland. So it was him making the coffee and not the maid and we had it on the terrasse of the topfloor with a very nice view - an absolute silence.

As a fishing writer I loved my Finnish assignments with fishing guides. Peace and quiet and no noise pollution with unnecessary bullshit stories. No small talk in Finland, that is something I'd love to have in The Netherlands

I like when he talks about people in Finland being different. I've been living in Finland for over 10 years now have met various different types of Finns. Of course there is always some stereotype taking place (as it does in all cultures and countries), but I learned that a lot of Finns do not like to be put in a "bowl" of being all the same or even responsible for the way others of his peers behave. I think Kimi is one of these people, he always wanted to make sure in his personal behavior and personal life that he only represents himself.
The helmet? "It protects my head." The gloves? "It protects my hands." The steering wheel? "It makes me steer the car." The drink? "It makes me not thirsty."
Anecdotal experience. The Finnish people I worked with were very direct, I wouldn’t say they used less words per se, but they were straight to the point. That does make you use less words, I guess. 😂 Cheers.
