@@davidthirugnanakumar7888 I don’t want to get ahead of myself here but Dune (2021) could very well be the BEST movie ever created in the history of cinema?

@@christinemusselman5499 Interesting! Thanks for that bit of information, I didn't know it, and I always love learning new things. :) I'm not trying to shit on Star Wars at all, I actually love those stories as well.
I haven't been to cinema in years but when dune came i instantly bought tickets just from knowing it was legendary, and the trailer gave me super sci Fi vibes
I also don't go to the cinema that often, because most movies don't look that that good or interesting. This year I've only been to the theater 2 times; For "Godzilla vs. Kong" and for "Dune". And both movies were experiences of a lifetime for me. There should be more good movies again.
Well, when conventional firearms using fast traveling projectiles won’t work against shields, and when lasguns and shields produce atomic weapon level reactions, medieval or Old Terra blades weapons seem the most viable. Poisons like chaumurky and tranquilizers are more viable traditional tools of the assassin. Firearms run out of bullets and lasguns run on batteries, but a blade never loses its inherent ability to kill.
The Dune soundtrack is not there to be played later as a nice melody somewhere, but to shake you to the core in the cinema seat and it did that with flying colors!
Bro, that crazy scene when Paul puts his hand in the water before he left to Arrakis, knowing it would be his last time touching that planet. Then later again when he puts his hand in the sands of Arrakis and sees spice for the first time, knowing it's the most valuable substance in the galaxy. Powerful scenes
Absolutely love the insanity and otherworldly score by Zimmer, he is surely going to Oscars with this! If he doesn't win this, it's gonna be biggest snub in the history of academy awards!!
Character development and cinematography…. I had forgotten how good movies could be. The scene where Paul and Jessica walk out into the open dunes had me on the verge of tears. Just beautiful motion picture mastery.
The original Dune is one of my favourite movies ever. This new one did it and the books proud. But please if you’re a Dune fan you must see this in the cinema. It’s 11/10.
I did, yesterday with my bruv. I enjoyed it allot but still felt there were some scenes better done in the original 1984 film - the box test, the voice power, how 'harkonnen' was pronounced in this new interpretation (that did niggle me!), the Baron was more repulsive in the first one, & although the cinematography was suitably epic, the colours looked kinda washed out & unfocused on the screen we watched the 2021film on. My bruv felt that it didn't really need a BIG screen experience & that definition would be (hopefully!) better on the bluray release. Despite that, I am still excited to see part 2 👍
Dune and Blade runner 2049 may be the best movies that used ambience and scenery through music and lights emotionally . I absolutely am in love with their vibes.

My friend and I noticed that it almost is like how fishes arch enemies are fishing vessels. Incredible stuff
