Love these Kaido House castings! Got some of the same ones you got too. The 4x4 wagon is one that is pretty cool. The red white and black 510 color scheme reminds me of the older Mark Donohue Penske racing livery. That NSX is definitely one of my favorites. Can't wait for the yellow one coming up. I agree with you that i see the artful design of cars that attracts me to them. I guess I'm an eclectic diecast collector too. 👍
I’ve been on and off collecting diecasts for years, recently got back into it and the mainline hot wheels were too kiddish for me so I started by purchasing a couple RLC’s, and then found Kaido House, allegedly they fall apart more quickly but I bought them anyway because they’re works of art and I don’t take them out of the package anyway. Love the Silverados, and the 510 wagons
I love Kaido I just happen to also like their chases as they are unique in how varied they are. I think at this point I have every Kaido plus some chases plus a lot more doubles/triples and more that have arrived but yet to be opened. As someone with a lot of cars who loves a ton of models I typically don’t care much for most trucks except vans. Got my first Kaido Silverado and was hooked on them so now I get every Kaido Silverado.
DJ - FYI, I'm 65 and KH is my #1 brand. Once I was in Walmart in another futile attempt at finding Boulevards, and I happened to have the red 510 in my bag. One associate was doing a restock and there was a manager in his 70s that absolutely fell in love with these Kaido House Mini GTs. That Fairlady is AMAZING! I have to go grab one of those! I love Kaido House, they are works of art. I’m trying to get examples of each casting myself. I’ve only got 5 right now and a couple on order. I’d love to get more but the cost is a little prohibitive. They are definitely worth the money though. Nice video 👍
All those cars are very nice, but the Fair ladys are OMG wonderful!!! I know were your coming from, I'm not a "stock " car guy, I love modified cars only because they are all different. Not that there's anything wrong with stock looking cars. But modified ones are can be works of art, not something that just rolled off the assembly line. Great video !! Keep them coming 👍
I love kiado house. My favorite is the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 and the Square body even though everyone one putting them out. I have the first square body to come out. I need to get the NSX. Pretty cool. Thank you for sharing.
Great video! I've considered only collecting Kaido House cars. Of course I haven't done that but, if you like them, I don't think it's a bad way to go. I think 5-10 years down the road that some of these early models will be quite sought after. Of course, that is if Kaido House is still releasing cars 5-10 years down the road and is still generating excitement with collectors. I think they probably will be around, but you never know. The first two R34 Skylines (Purple and White) are already getting pricey for those who haven't been paying attention. I'm glad I picked those up when they were first released. I'd love to know what the production runs are on these.
I love them. I want the Silverado now. They are kinda like elite 64 but with a different interpretation. Like an idea was presented but carried out 2 different ways. I wish the wheels were realistic. The fronts wouldn't turn and the dish is too deep, especially the nsx- but minor gripes. I would still buy them if I had the money
Mini GT QC has always been iffy. When they get it right, it's amazing. But more times than not, there's always something wrong from a QC perspective. For the price point of Kaido, I'd expect better QC, having own several over the last year or so, I'd say 15-20% have some sort of blemish, or tampo issue. The majority I can live with, but one I was pretty upset over, and gifted it and got a replacement. Unfortunately, when you buy these online or retail, you can't return them, so you're stuck with it unless you gift it and get another.

I took the engine cover off on mine now you can see the engine much cleaner!! Plus the little plastic piece does not stay up!

That's the first nsx, yellow just came out. Then blue, then orange.

Most chases go between $90-$150 USD as far as what I’ve seen. However the Kaido with greatest value are the special event releases.

Correct those kaido house blisters need redesign, they may damage the paint

They can't sort out QC issues with their mainlines. Their premium line would become a joke if they don't pay attention to QC.
