    he paints from blurry to sharp and making directing the sharpness towards the center of interest usually the right eye. 21 levels of this transition. go from warm to cool and save the darkest and lightest for almost last level.

    Leng Jum' paints are photo + details. If you take a look his painting work in a studio, the final versions were far from details and less accurate from the real object. if you take a look the photos/pictures in the studio, there is no very much details at all. So my conclusion is that I must take multiple photos with very high resolution lens camera so he can see the details of each part of object. So he painted from photo first, and then add details to the paint. It is impossible to paint only by watching object to get details like hairs, sweaters, ...
