I know a guy with a lifted 2012 Duramax who's actually afraid to get on the gas from a stop because he blew up the U-joint on his diff literally down the street from the shop after he got it lifted.

@@jacobg5122 the u joints are steel regardless of if it's the 1 piece aluminium driveshaft or 2 piece long wheelbase steel one but yea if your buddy put flat 8 inch blocks in the back with crappy shocks and no traction bars he was guna have a bad time eventually whether its jus leaving the shop or when he actually needed it one day and it breaks

If a truck makes it longer than 20 minutes with these guys it was a good build, this thing has taken weeks of abuse, just absolutely abused the hell out of it

Mine was hit right in the middle , totalled by the insurance, the impact was so severe that bent the frame, we walk away ok, i got my money back and the insurance sold as is for 7k...
