I remember liking the show and Jamie's character in particular. "It would behoove me/you" never failed to make me laugh. Watching the shows as an adult, I recognize the gifts of incredible comedic timing and delivery, not to mention a hilariously mobile face. I also have a much greater appreciation for how good the writing was. I actually had to pause an early episode to see who wrote it--Andy Borowitz. Too bad it didn't stay on the air for longer! It was really great.

As beautiful as she is, she's well read, and intelligent, very interesting, she had a great career, and still does

Still Standing was a blast and it was the chemistry between her and Mark Addy that really made it.

Wrong network, wrong night. No idea how this ended up on CBS, but it probably should had been on Saturday nights on NBC with all the other youth programming they had on at the time.

+blpsf1 It just depends on what network is interested in the show and what deals the creators have with it. The thing was that the ratings were not good and CBS wasn't exactly in ratings trouble at the time so they didn't have to keep shows that weren't doing well, unlike NBC at the time.

That's what I liked about the show was that the "nerdy" not popular kids were the stars of the show. So different from Saved by the Bell which was all about the mostly "popular" kids.

I truly think that Square Pegs was a good show. What happens here is that CBS didn’t go out and ask us youngesters what we thought about the show. As always back then adults didn’t care what we younger teen-Agers would say and give there opinion. But that show would of made of real big.

YOU WERE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER! I have to watch myself, especially in my writing, using the word Behoove. Two of my favorite scenes was when your school was competing another school..."I'm faster with buzzer because I grew up with a push button phone!" the other was when you hit the buzzer and yelled RUFFS-TUFFS-EAT-KOOL-JELLO (Roosevelt-Truman-Eisenhower-Kennedy-Johnson. If I remember correctly, your word association made your team lose the contest!

Well at least now the networks know about what we all think, they should at least bring it back on TV like MeTV brings back old shows. Love Boat and Happy Days. Why not Square Pegs ????

It's funny to hear her say how good a singer Sarah Jessica Parker was. Because Parker says she's not a singer. Even stars can be humble I guess...
