A quality bible dictionary helped me a lot. Thankfully I still have it as the internet tends to twist things these days.

There is a written WORD....but there is also HIS Spoken Word, when you hear HIS Voice( Holy Spirit/ Helper)

T-Mack, please dont take this wrong. But anybody that writes a book about the bible is saying they can teach and write about Gods word better than God. This is fact! Only thing a man needs is Gods KJB and a good concordance, thats it. The word teaches itself within the context. Holy Ghost gives the understanding(Job 32:8). And it must be rightly divided(2 Tim 2:15). Understanding what the colons and semicolons mean is the biggest part of being able to learn scripture. To this very day I have never heard one person explain what colons and semicolons are for and how they work. A colon is :, semicolon is ; they are there for a reason. This is not an attack on you T. This is a help. Let me know if you want me to explain more about this and I will. Been doin this for a very long time. I am a brother in Christ! I use to have a library, but dont no more. All in the county land fill now. I had to learn the hard way, because of preachers teachin false. Most love tradition instead of truth....
I do agree that the Bible and a good concordance does wonders for rightly deviding the word of God. These two books aren't written about the Bible or trying to improve on God's word. These books are more for teaching you how to intelligently debate non believers and or other religions. Why Darwanist got it wrong and how they got it wrong. As someone who puts videos out there for everyone to see I have to be able to defend against all sorts of attacks and knowing all the enemies ways in this day and time is a huge help especially someone as simple minded as me.
Saying other books are worthless is like saying another persons opinion based on scripture is worthless.
Like the Holy Spirit couldn’t have lead them to share insight.
There are obviously multiple false teachers but a good Holy Word based book is not bad. In seminary we used 100’s of different books.
@@WholeOtherLevelOutdoors just thinks of all the 100's of hours in other mens books could have been 100's of hours in Gods word. Thats a smart move?smh. Same answer all bible college men give. You were approved by men, when you are to be approved by God (2 Tim 2:15). Here is a question for you college man, what were the trees in the garden and what was the fruit that Adam and Eve ate? Dont tell me the bible doesnt say, because it does and is very clear about it. I am quite sure you dont know, but I could be wrong since your understanding came from mens books and you have been to bible college. I use to have the same thinking as yall. Thanks be to God I seen the error of that thinking. People today dont care about truth, they care about feelings....most people couldnt even show where the gospel is in the scriptures, let alone knowing what the gospel is that saves today. There is one book in the entire bible that was written directly to the gentiles, what book would that be? You should know this, youve been to bible college and approved by men. My college is the 1769 KJB and approved unto God! I bet in college they didnt teach what colons and semi colons are for and what they mean? Without understanding that last question it is impossible to understand the scriptures, thats a fact!!!
The tree of life is the Father and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is the Devil and there was no fruit. The new and the old testament tells us that Adam and Eve were unholy seduced by the serpent aka the devil which it doesn't take much to figure out what that means. How did i do on the pop quiz? You will have to send me your colon and semicolon notes. I do agree that I need to spend more time reading my Bible though.
@@ramoutdoors6415 you sound like you have it all figured out. However, you know nothing about me or my time spent in seminary. Seminary actually pushed me away from “Bible college “ and closer to God.
You quote your 1769 KJB as if it some magical translation. If you truly knew how much king James had left out of his translation you wouldn’t be so arrogant in your rebuttal. Think Ethiopia, think Catholicism. KJ intentionally took books/writings out of his manuscripts to suit his needs. I know you will say no he didn’t but you’d be wrong. See there is more history out there that can bring and even larger and deeper understanding of God’s Word to us if we let it.
I’m certainly not saying that you are wrong by wanting to spend time in God’s Word but there are men smarter than you and I whom have spent their lives also in God’s word that offer great insight to further understanding and knowledge.
Also, there is more than one, two, three, opinion’s/ theories of what the fruit actually was.
I do not claim to KNOW IT ALL as some do but I do know Jesus.
I bet we could sit face to face and have a wonderful Bible study but this back and forth text is not my idea of a good time.
Perhaps if God had put everything he ever did onto paper it would fill the whole world.
