- Questions are being raised about a controversial program launched by the Adams administration to give migrant families pre-paid debit cards to buy food and other necessities. CBS New York political reporter Marcia Kramer has more.
The only cards they should get is a bus or plane ticket out of the city . No one asked the people of NYC if we wanted to use our taxes to pay for illegal freeloaders

I will disagree with the NYC Mayor on how this $53M bill is going to help save money. This money comes from U.S. taxpayers in one way or another. Homeless families, Veterans, and dislocated workers do not get a quarter of what these migrants are receiving for free. If the Mayor of NYC truly wants to save money, the only thing that needs to be done is to send the migrants back with one-way tickets and no return privileges for 10 years.

I feel for the homeless people here who have to go through so much to try to integrate back into society. Dudes formerly incarcerated who get jobs and have to jump through hoops for services, disabled people and the mentally challenged have enough challenges and they see stuff given freely that they have to fight just for a chance to get out. I’ll hear the “they did it to themselves” argument but everyone deserves the chance to work towards and they’re seeing the collective backs turning on them again.

The 53 Million is only for 0.05% (5300) of the 10,000,000 immigrants that's come in. Eventually they will say its cheaper to give them a house & transportation. Also keep in mind this isn't Eric Adams Money, its the Tax Payers that are on the hook.

Food should be control for issue per family plus kids.
Issue them a card to be use only in designated food issue places.
Baby food formulas and diapers will be evenly distributed accordingly by the size of the household. No debit cards no moneycards. If they need money for whatever reason, they must go thru the state process.

I have friends on the island that live their , luckily i was able to visit them in 2022 before their house burned to the ground. The government is corrupt along with the Red Cross. The other Islands helped , before the government came to their aid , only 2 weeks after. The residents voted down a 15 min city proposal etc, this fire was intentional so the government could buy the natives off their land for pennies on the dollar. That place was magical , it was taken from them in the worst fire in US history , and it wasn't a wild fire
