+DimesTR Ehh a number of different factors come into play. 1. Curry's was in overtime, 2. It tied the NBA record for most threes in a game, and 3. it wasn't a fluke shot. Mudiay's was incredible, but Curry's will go down as one of the greatest game winners of all time
That Curry game winner in OKC is probably one of the best and most iconic game winners in NBA history.... I wasn't even mad when he hit it, I just sat there and smiled because I would've been surprised if it didn't go in.
+Alezh1337 Nuggets lost by 2, Warriors and OKC was tied ! Mundiay has more pressure than Curry ! Mundiay's shot is more acrobatic ... #MundiayNumberOne
Seriously I don't like curry, but nr 1 deserves his spot. Mudiays shot was a more lucky but currys shot was pure skill against a thunder team that most people believed to have the best chance to beat GS to that time. But this final of his 10 THREES just killed OKC. Just imagine if OKC would have won this game.. That one win had a huge impact on both teams. Because of this win everybody counts on the thunder to loose against them in playoffs. But I also want to add that the NBA should give more respect for the Mambas final game winner. I wouldn't have any problem with it being number one of this list and of the top 10 plays of the year!
1. Joe Johnson is one of the best clutch players in the league 2. Cory Joseph is underrated 3. Mudiay's game winner was my personal favourite.... but who the fuck cares?
I'm not a Curry fan, but when you think of how GS came back, how Curry led that comeback, and how many records he broke, then hit the game winner, that was pretty great.
jeffrey patino I don't get why people hate when everybody likes a player. Like he's the best player right now of course he's going to be the most popular.
+Eli Itzhaky just because Mudiay's shot was difficult to make doesn't mean it's the clutch shot of the year. Mudiay is #2 but Curry deserves #1 tbh because it was an intense game, back and forth buckets (GSW comeback in the 4th) and Thunder had chances to beat them but couldn't
How is Curry's shot better than Mudiay's? He was copping a double team and he jacked it up from half court as the buzzer was going off for the win. If he missed it, they would have lost... Curry's shot was uncontested, wasn't a buzzer beater and didn't matter if it missed as the score were level. Typical NBA, sucking up to Curry. It's just so biased it's unfair.
All these people saying mudiay should've been number one. Mudiay just saw the rim and threw it up in the direction of the basket. Curry's was straight skill that man practices shots from that far, as the greatest shooter ever. Credit to where real credit is deserved
I think for these lists, context does matter. Look at any list of things like Michael Jordan's best plays, and the top ones will nearly always be hit game winner against the Jazz. The shot itself wasn't anything special, but the circumstances surrounding it, his last shot for championship number 6, is why people consider it so great. Just like people loved Kobe's game leading shot against The Jazz. Again, nothing overly unbelievable about the shot, but the context is why people like it. While these top 10 lists are worth a watch, they don't really manage to get the atmosphere of an entire game across properly, and you won't get that unless you're sitting watching the game live, as it happens. That's what I feel makes these shots so worth watching. That's why playoff games are often more exciting than the regular season. It's a lot of defense, and not always a lot of flashy plays, but the pressure and situations the teams are in are what make it exciting. At least that my view anyway. For that reason, while I agree Mudiay's shot was technically better, I preferred Curry's, as winning a game against a top 4 team, in OT, on the road, on their way to 73 wins had more impact than the Nuggets getting a game winner against the worst team in the league, at home, in a game with virtually on relevance. Not to take anything away from Mudiay himself however, as it was still an unbelievable effort.
Regardless of #2 being luckier, but a true game winner and upset (but then who cared for Denver or Philly this season, and I'm a Sixers fan)... #1 gets a new meaning nowadays considering the intense 7-game series OKC and GSW had... so now it fits legit being #1...
Why didn't one of Nik Vucevic's game winners end up on the Top 10? Does #1 have to be #1 just because it's Step Curry. Have you people seen Mudiay's shot?
Nr.2 has to be Nr.1
Yep
ye
yes
+HBK SHAWN MICHEALS %100
no
Where is Westbrooks half-court shot to send the game in to OT against the magic?
+Spurs Fan Since 4/20/96 game winners not game tiers
+Silent Shame Clutch shots not game winners
Westbrook is still underrated, idk why they do this, but Curry always gets No.1 even if his play wasn't the best. #NBALogic
Silent Shame Clutch shots....
IKR!! I'm so salty
I dont care who is at 1 or 10, all of them were amazing plays.....but Mudiay had the better one
+1000
+DimesTR Ehh a number of different factors come into play. 1. Curry's was in overtime, 2. It tied the NBA record for most threes in a game, and 3. it wasn't a fluke shot. Mudiay's was incredible, but Curry's will go down as one of the greatest game winners of all time
+DimesTR Best*
+Tom Ballhausen Only because of bandwagons and dick riders.
Mudiay buzzer beater Denver-Philadelphia but Curry Buzzer beater Warriors-Okc !!!!
That Curry game winner in OKC is probably one of the best and most iconic game winners in NBA history.... I wasn't even mad when he hit it, I just sat there and smiled because I would've been surprised if it didn't go in.
How is KD'S game winner vs Orlando not here
Reported.
+Devon Uram he said one of you can make that argument if we're not talking playoffs
Good Man Idek man
Flagged, reported, blocked.
Number 1 should've been Kobe's game winner
W
Number 1 or not, it should have been in here. It's not even in here wtf! Nba taking L's
/
it wasn't as impressive because there was still like 20 seconds left
L
No Matt Barnes?
True
+Jordan McCallister Thank you !
No Russell Westbrook either
Rt
Kyle lowry had a sick one to doe
Mudiay deserves #1
W
mudiays shot wasnt even clutch, win or lose theyd still be out of the playoffs.....
+Cris Isabel Tan you obviously don't know what clutch means.
against the sixers
+PyrotheFlame YT no comment dude. I dont see any pressure on Mudiays shot since they were out since day 1
Where is Rondo's inbound Alley Oop to Rudy Gay??
+House Of Hoops Ayyye what up HoH?
#MudiayswasbetterthanCurrys
yep
Yes
+Michael Regan Curry's was against OKC, in OT
+Revvinds His shot was more difficult, but it was a forced lucky hail mary, the other one was a deliberate choice. Curry's shot is way more clutch.
+Alezh1337 Nuggets lost by 2, Warriors and OKC was tied ! Mundiay has more pressure than Curry ! Mundiay's shot is more acrobatic ...
#MundiayNumberOne
Matt Barnes game winner?
Am i The Only One Who Only Saw The List 10 To 2 Because I Already Know Whats Gonna Be Number 1 We All Know
yup!!!
You mean we all know 2 is better than 1. But the NBA suck cock all day soooo.
+Shrek The Ogre He thinks hes Jaden Smith
+Shrek The Ogre its called capitalism
+Shrek The Ogre yes cause no one cares except u
Mudiay's buzzer beater is shot of the year.
Hate all you want. Steph's game winner against OKC was the bomb
Mudiays was better
this was a actually good list
Seriously I don't like curry, but nr 1 deserves his spot. Mudiays shot was a more lucky but currys shot was pure skill against a thunder team that most people believed to have the best chance to beat GS to that time. it was 12
We were all looking forward to this video.
At least I know I'm not the only one who thought no. 2 is better than no. 1. Nice one NBA
Andre's clutch free throws to force overtime should of been in here
Number 2 is more difficult than Number 1
+Juan Pablo Torres But his shot actually meant nothing.
I know there is at least one person here in 2021
Where's Durant's game winner against Orlando?
I can not wait for the 2016-17 NBA season
Thunder vs Magic?
exacly
Yup.
+Matheus Rezini That shit was unneeded
Watch from 0:29 and on the replay zaza tried to tweak haywards ankle like he did with kawhi
Matt Barnes half court????
BANG! BANG! -best commentator line
So NBA just gonna ignore Melo's clutch shot vs the 76ers??
76ers
+Kristaps Porzingod it was vs the 76ers... if you need a clutch shot to beat them, its nothing to celebrate lol
So what about mudiays game winner it was against the sixers
Joshua Elmkies its the nuggets. They are almost as bad as the 76ers, nothing shocking there
+Joshua Elmkies Thank you!!! Someone finally pointed that out! I hate the "let's hate Steph Curry" bandwagon. They're all unoriginal and annoying.
Once again proving that the NBA will always make curry number 1
who agrees that #1 and #2 should be switched. Don't get me wrong, Curry's shot was amazingly clutch. But #2 was just too clutch of a shot.
KOOOOBE
SPLAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH SQUAAAAAAAAAAAD!
join the squad!
Let's see... how many highlight videos so far has Curry been #1 on and didn't deserve it?
Why the fudge did I just watch the top ten plays of the 2015-2016 season again?!
Wheres JCrossover cookin da Jazz?
mudiay deserves the top spot.... Joe Johnson never fail to make me smile
Why are people mad that all of Steph curry's practice is paying off??
Haters
jealousy
Not hating but his shot shouldnt be number 1
+kay nine (kay9ine1) yeh maybe not its just annoying when people hate
+AR 22 It's annoying when people dick ride as well
how about scalabrine's return from retirement game where he hit a no look 360 full court windmill bounce pass that won the game?
Where's Kyle lowrys game winner vs Cleveland
We knew who's on 1 before watching the vid ;D
1. Joe Johnson is one of the best clutch players in the league
2. Cory Joseph is underrated
3. Mudiay's game winner was my personal favourite.... but who the fuck cares?
I'm a thunder fan, always have been, so I personally love Mudiay's better than Curry's shot, but who the hell cares.
Amazing shots of the year
before i watch #1 im gonna bet its curry vs okc
Nice call
I'm not a Curry fan, but when you think of how GS came back, how Curry led that comeback, and how many records he broke, then hit the game winner, that was pretty great.
Wut about the matt Barnes half court shot against Detroit ftw the Steph curry shot wasn't even that special
are you fucking kidding me? how is that shot not special
+Nathan LeSure how is matt barnes chucking it from half court with enough time to actually get to the 3pt line special ?
You already know who is number 1
*Another marketing top ten, Number 2 is ten better times that number 1, **#NBAINJUST*
i would put Kobe's last game shot as #1 just because of how we wont ever wittiness greatness like that from another Kobe ever
Can't see why mudiay game winner isn't no.1 take this L nba.com
I'm just glad to see people hate curry just as much as I do
+jeffrey patino U pissed he's that nasty?
jeffrey patino I don't get why people hate when everybody likes a player. Like he's the best player right now of course he's going to be the most popular.
NBA just keeps putting that awful shot selection game winner by curry on top of every top 10, whether it be top dunks, top assists, top plays
How is that awful? lol Too salty man.
+Charles Andrew Pasion probably worst shot selection of all time. He could've dribbled up closer probably into a more realistic three or even layup
+Eli Itzhaky He knew he can make it and he DID make it. How's that awful?
+Charles Andrew Pasion I don't care what u say, mudiays shot was about 1000x harder and better
Who does the commentary for the Raptors in number 10? I've always liked his voice as well as Kevin Harlan's.
I'm a Hawks fan.
Matt devlin
JaLcK Casares
Thanks bud!
U welcome
How is Curry's shot better than Mudiay's? He was copping a double team and he jacked it up from half court as the buzzer was going off for the win. If he missed it, they would have lost...
Curry's shot was uncontested, wasn't a buzzer beater and didn't matter if it missed as the score were level. Typical NBA, sucking up to Curry. It's just so biased it's unfair.
+Josh Probably because of the whole chase for 73-9
12th three-pointer.
Josh As long as Curry's shot is still the 12th three-pointer.
***** So you're telling me if that was Mudiays 12th three for the game he'd get the number 1 spot.
Josh ABSOLUTELY!!! That's the all-time NBA single game record.
Does anybody else get a 30 second AD before every NBA video?
Still No Matt Barnes??? Great
half of these plays were also found in the "Top 10 Plays of the Year" video.
This was almost basically the same video of the top 10 plays of the season
All these people saying mudiay should've been number one. Mudiay just saw the rim and threw it up in the direction of the basket. Curry's was straight skill that man practices shots from that far, as the greatest shooter ever. Credit to where real credit is deserved
Matt Barnes Half Court GW Vs the Pistons ?????????
Curry haters need to chill. It's not even his fault he is on the lists. He just played his best.
I think for these lists, context does matter. Look at any list of things like Michael Jordan's best plays, and the top ones will nearly always be hit game winner against the Jazz. Before even watching the video I am commenting knowing that Steph Curry's Buzzer beater OT against OKC is #1. That is all
Where is Kd's shot against the Magic? What about Westbrook's against the Magic early in the season?
+superzayman1 yeah Westbrook's one was top 5
curry shots is amazing, but mudiay shots is unbelievable
As an okc fan i was salty af but that games is no question game of the year
1:48 watch the time it said 01.3 but when Williams caught the ball they added extra time on the clock 02.1
Even if u don't like curry, damn dat shot was amazing.
Denver vs Phily, such a meaningful shot -_-
Westbrook sending it into overtime with the half court shot
God I love this sport....
What about Lowry's game winner against Cleveland??
Matt Barnes half-court game winning shot?
I just realized at 3:12, Kanter was wondering why Roberson let Curry shoot. Kanter knew it was going in. hahah
matt barnes half court game winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Curry has been number one 3 times already and sometimes it was deserved but I swear if he makes top 10 dunks of the season im firing everyone
Im a Lakers fan but people hate Curry's Greatness..
How about Matt Barnes from halfcourt?
Derozan's toe was out of bounds
The most clutch shots is when they're losing and they get a game winner
writing this before watching, curry will be nr 1
i don't know why people are shocked THE GREATEST SHOOTING IN NBA HISTORY is number 1.
watching this for the umptrrnth time lol. off season just end already!! until then football and soccer
Where is Kobe's last field goal??That was absolutely the best shot in the season
As a Thunders fan, #1 hurts. But it was a great shot
Where's matt barnes's game winning half court shot vs grizzlies?
Curry will also lead in "Top 10 Blocks and Top 10 Big Men Plays". Come on NBA
Everybody already knew what number one was going to be
Kobe's last game shot should have been #1
I knew from the start Curry would be #1
I honestly don't know if Mudiay in #2 got that off in time. That was damn close
top ten dunks hurry up!
Rubio's three to beat the Thunder should be in here somewhere
Regardless of #2 being luckier, but a true game winner and upset (but then who cared for Denver or Philly this season, and I'm a Sixers fan)... #1 gets a new meaning nowadays considering the intense 7-game series OKC and GSW had... so now it fits legit being #1...
All plays were good but where is Lowry's game winner and Barnes' half-court game winner. Also, the video has to be Top 10 Game Winners.
What about Andre from gsw to put the game to over time and keep the streak alive
Jimmy Butler's alley-oop tip in to beat the Pacers?
Lakers fans be like "my top 5 favorite players are kobe, black mamba, clutch guy, guy who changed his number to 24, guy who retired recently."
Why didn't one of Nik Vucevic's game winners end up on the Top 10?
Does #1 have to be #1 just because it's Step Curry. Have you people seen Mudiay's shot?
Cuz vucevic is a scrub
Matt Barnes' shot against the Pistons?
№3 Alley-oop tho!
(also - these are all buzzer beaters - are there no other clutch shots?)
Lowry vs cavs?
i was going to say someone was missing from the list
but
then he came in @ no. 1
