Ive owned 3 mini in the past r50,r53,r56 JCW and I was going to get a golf r instead but I seen your video and bought the f56 JCW can't wait to collect the mini on the 12th may
Ahahahah a year later I’m still enjoying it, I bought the pro exhaust in October 2019 and it’s just made the car that much more fun. Pops and bangs are unreal.
how is the sport automatic transmission? how fast are the shifts? does it automatically change on high revs even in semi auto? the regular auto is really bad
+gtmmtg94 I've only driven the manual and sport-automatic on the Cooper S. So, from my point of view the shifts are really fast, but if you rev high they will get harder too. And yes, it automatically changes the gear if you go into the rev limiter, even on manual mode
ahh, miss my F55, havent have the chance to install a jcw tuning kit, but the stock exhaust is quite nice already (for a stock exhaust). i would rev it a bit when theres no one in underground carpark haha.
I miss it too man. Been a few years since I gave it back. I was shocked how good that thing sounded with the stock exhaust. The JCW was a bit too much for the neighbors when opened, haha :D I really want to get the GP, but with EU filters it just doesn't sound so good anymore
@@Autovolution and the other thing I like about Mini Cooper s is the turbo blowoff. Maybe someday I’ll acquire a mini jcw, if I have the chance, cause u just feel special driving one . Anyway, really glad i had owned it.
I’ve just bought a 2017 cooper s auto and was looking into getting the JCW tuning kit....... can it even be fitted to them if not factory fitted when new? Also read that the autos couldn’t have the JCW tuning kit but just the manuals, but that’s obviously wrong lol
Yes, you can also buy it afterwards and get it done by a Mini workshop or any other else! Congrats to the buy! I really miss the Mini, I don't have it anymore :( Upload some videos when you got the JCW Kit, I really want to see that beast again :)

Bin mit dem Auto eine lange Zeit von Berlin nach Braunschweig gependelt, also etwa 200km pro Fahrt. Ist auf jeden Fall machbar, ab 160+ werden es aber merklich starke Windgeräusche. Cruisen kann man aber ganz entspannt :)
I'm sure you can put an exhaust on it. But I don't know about aftermarket exhausts that much since my JCW Kit is directly from MINI. Which engine do you have? Probably the Cooper with 140hp? Great engine, i drove it very often, its really fun!
Hey, Danke! Im JCW Kit gibt es 20 Pferdchen extra und einen Klappenauspuff. Mit offener Klappe ist er natürlich nicht mehr ganz Zulässig, ansonsten aber alles Tüv-Gemäß und natürlich auch mit Garantie, da das JCW Kit direkt ab Werk eingebaut werden kann. p.s.: coole Videos, allzeit gute Fahrt!
Klingt geil! für die 20d motoren gibt es ja auch nen performance kit von bmw direkt mit garantie. Das finde ich total geil. VW bietet sowas nicht... Achso ^^ solange die klappe zu ist ist alles legal offen dann nur auf "privaten" plätzen. wie sieht das bei mini generell mit der garantie aus? Kann man da verlängern auf z.B 5 jahre und decken die auch alles ab? Danke^^ich wünsche ich dir auch! Hab gerade gesehen das du auch aus berlin bist^^
@@MrMofaMofa also soweit ich das Mal gelesen habe darfst du auch ganz normal mit offener Klappe fahren, ABER offene Klappe und Sportmodus dabei an haben ist wohl nicht zulässig oder wird nicht gerne "gehört" 😅

I wish this trans was used in late R55's. My auto is just fine handling a lot of power but that "dsg fart" sound with the shifting is awesome
r56 is a fart sound? need ecu for this?
