I have been practicing and playing for a little over 6 months and these videos have been super helpful and the little tips about cord transitions are great as well !! Thanks so much for these videos :)
@Guitar Goddess. Hi my friend How are you ? it's one of my favorite song " Am " chord ❤😍😍 thank you for making this chord series it's really helpful on my GUITAR journey 😍 🎸
I love you! When you say "..It sounds pretty.." I'm looking at pretty lol. Ahem! Those are the chords I am learning right now for praise and worship. Thank you and GOD Bless
I started lessons last week. The chords are so hard for me. I guess my fingers aren't rounded enough and whatever else because my first finger, first fret is sometimes muted. I have to keep adjusting but it's actually not easy, and it hurts to boot. I can feel the sting and pounding in my fingertips. From the video I think I'll practice chords every day and just strum and pick so I can get their full sounds and effects and gain some muscle memory.
Thank you! I will at some point in the future. My goal for now is just basic major and minor chords focusing mainly on the open shapes and touching on the most popular, common barred ones that beginners come across. :)
It might sound a little dumb but could you do a tutorial on how to correctly strum with a pick? I always get stuck trying Up-strums or I have to use a pick that sounds really hard (what i mean is that you can really hear the pick while strumming with e.g. a plastic pick) 🤷🏼♀️😅
when i put my finger on a note it mutes it idk if that’s what’s supposed to happen or it’s supposed to make a noise, for me the only strings that make noise are the 5th string and the first one, please help me and let me know what i’m doing wrong!
Hey guys I'm learning Am & C chord and doing this the way she does in this video (fingers facing up not slanted) but the high e string/1st string always gets muted. I really have to slant my finger to purposely avoid fat fingering the 1st string. It's probably better especially for C chord since I am closer to the fret but really feels too precise when playing along with a song. After reading a bit about guitars, I'm guessing the action on mine is a bit too high?
Great video😍❤️But when i keep my fingers on strings, they sound is not really how guitars usually sound..the sound is too dull..could you please tell why is it so?
Hi I love your channel and subscribed to it. It is very helpful Could I ask u for an advice plz? Could u tell me how exactly one learn guitar chords, like doing them reflexively?! Thank you 😊
Anyone else have a favorite minor chord?
I really like A minor but my favorite now that I can play it is the D minor. I just love its sound.
@@rebeccahutchison1753 Another great minor chord!! Love that one too. :)
Am is favorite, Em sounds deep, Dm sounds brave! :D
Laila Rahmawati to me the D minor seems pleasantly haunting, if that makes sense or maybe a little mischievous

Alexander Borodin composed his Third Symphony in A Minor, an amazingly bubbly piece that alternates between sweet and sour.

Is it fine if I strum all 6 chords if I'm pressing my thumb on the 6th string? Or should I still skip it?
If you’re muting the 6th string with your thumb, then yes - it’s totally okay to strum all 6 strings!
Thanks for the response
