  • LIVE: China's new bullet trains launched on Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail.
The new models, called "Fuxing", or rejuvenation, are capable of speeds of up to 400 km/h.
They are the first high-speed bullet trains wholly designed and developed by China, and could be better adapted to China's environment and rail transport patterns.

      Reasons may be:
      1. More and more people in the world pay attention to China.
      2. In the past , CNN, BBC and Fox news are keen on reporting negtive news about China , but now CCTV makes more active videos about China in English language than before.

Hi from Australia. Great video from two reporters who are obviously proud of their nations achievements. For the last 10 years, I have had the honor of training young men from China as airline pilots. These young men are a credit to their country and their parents, exceedingly polite, friendly and sociable. The local community where they are billeted have have become very fond of the cadets, they have become very much part of our community. China is learning a lot from us, be we are also learning a lot from them. It's wonderful to see the videos coming out of China lately, the country is developing rapidly and the young people there have a drive to make their life better. Thank you for the English video.

Don't know what's the fuss in some of these comments. The two reporters are obviously doing a segment for an english speaking audience and are doing quite well. The guy is especially good. Very clear and with slight accent. No big deal. Heard a lot worse accents in america. Glad they did not hire foreign jounalists or abc's.

the reason is our shit system... china is a complete different story.. we had political parties who are corrupt from top to bottom.. congress has looted billions and billions... and also shit politics in india.. we are lagging by almost 1 trillion dollar in infrastructure.. india needs another 15-20 years to get where china is today..

    • @siddhantkumar9646
      @siddhantkumar9646 7 лет назад +2

+Gourab Das Blaming the political parties is not a logical argument bro.It the people like us who bring those to power.I will give you an example. Why are the shitheads of my state of Bihar still electing the stupid RJD and Lalu to power.I am perplexed about it till this day.I have lived outside bihar all my life but my dad is from there and it pains me to see how stupid and gullible people can be.People stop development because of their personal interests just like they are doing in Maharashtra where BJP government is not able to procure land for the Mumbai Nagpur highway because Congress and local parties are instigating and misguiding the farmers. We do need a trillion for basic infrastructure across the country. We will need more than that to match the west. Also I believe that if things go on as they are going right now then we will be where china today is by 2032 but our young population will give us an edge and we might even cross china to become a larger economy by 2050.But we will definitely be second.Remember that the first bullet train in china started around 2003 when they were in similar condition to us today. In 14 years they constructed about 23000 km of new track. We will start from 2023.I think that by 2033,we can also have all cities in India connected by High Speed Rail because India is smaller than China and the terrain is a lot more managable because we have vast plain which need less investment as there no need to drill tunnels and build massive bridges and viaducts. Also India is much smaller than China in size so that works to our advantage.Jai Hind anyway. We have to take the golden bird back to its former glory

A different concept in train traveling. It's like traveling in a plane and the train station resembles an airport with proper signage and lights. It's the cleanliness, comfort, safe travel and modern utilities. Each time there is an upgraded version of the bullet train. Research and development by China's engineers goes a long way. China is famous for trains all over the world.

Don't try to fool yourselves, guys, China will never be No. 1 as long as those bright and brilliant Chinese students who study in U.S. and Europe do not return to China. All the Chinese extraction who won Nobel prizes were from outside China, with the exception of the Chinese doctor who won medicine prize from mainland China. Then you must ask the question "WHY" they won''t return to China? Yes, China makes huge progress in economy and technology, but she will not be No. 1 for a long time.

    所以什么时候提速啊,现在高铁上跑的都是380以上的车,北京上海那条又是按380的标准修的,现在又有一个可以跑400的了。 就算不跑380,400也要和以前一样跑350吧? 至少能削掉半小时的时间。

This is by no means faster than previous generation. With older trains, travelling from Beijing to Shanghai lasts from 4 hours 49 minutes to 5 hours and 30 minutes. This train however goes slower. Therefore, main point should be put on other features, but definitely not on the speed.

First big Congrats to building such awesome establishment? Hope money well spend. I can't wait to go experience it. As far as I can see, it's wayyyy surpassed any accomplishment that American had ever done. American could only 'drop mouth' and stand watching. On another note; China please take a look at the rest of your country's rural lands/people as there's lots are suffering and deserve your caring and fundings. Try not to concentrate tooo much with your country's image and focus on nourishing your people who are starving and living in rough broken/burnt house. It would be nice some day to see news and video of another accomplishment from China regarding rebuilding their people's living and working lives. Thanks

This is the second generation built train in China .The last generation speed 250-300Km/H,the new generation speed above 350,400Km/H.Let me answer the question "Why the train don 't have individual entertaining system or small TV screen for everyone?" First, Chinese live on the internet almost everyone using their cellphone to get cable TV,movie contents. Second, the train is so fast, the train only has few stops, only 5% people taking end to end ,so the 95%people only have few minutes off the train.
