It could be our second national anthem in Nigeria.
The first one has no meaning to me. I don't identify with it, the lyrics makes no sense.
This particular one I feel it to my bone narrows and the depth of my heart. This guy saw the future and wrote this great lyrics that we can identify with. The old Nigerian Anthem should be thrown into the dustbin of history. The same people that composed the useless anthem are the ones killing us

This song is so powerful and inspiring. It is Saturday 17th October 2020 as I write. There are peaceful demonstrations going on in Nigeria this moment. The Youths of Nigeria (The Future of Nigeria) wish to have a progressive nation that is standing on equity, fairness, safety, justice and inclusion. They are asking for what belongs to them. For what the country can afford to give them. It is my wish that by the end of this year Nigeria gets a new leadership driven by the Youth for the full interest of ALL Nigerians. Nigeria is a great nation.

I just made my 13yrs old listen and sing it with me several times to give her and her generation hope that Nigeria indeed holds a lot of promise if only we elect credible leaders that will move the nation forward. I'm literally moved to tears every time I listen to this song. Sitting in my room and reliving through all the bad experiences, injustices, deprivations, intimidation I went through while in Nigeria, along side the huge blessings and potentials in that country that should have been harnessed for the betterment of her citizens, I shed tears. My country is unfortunate to have a class of political cult who parade themselves as leaders who have literally and deliberately wasted so many potentials and destinies of her people and mortgaged those of her generations to come. They are a corrupt and minute class of leeches, parasites and political vampires feasting on the commonwealth of the citizens and would stop at nothing to ensure they do not lose grip on power so as to continue their evil. I wish my country men would rise to take back our country from these guys...cos they have ridiculed us enough. These are why this song moves me emotions and tears I wish I could channel to inspire my fellow citizens to action.
