Thinking about doing another video with Steve on "The McDavid Move" from last week vs the Maple Leafs (on Reilly) with drills to help get that edge work down. Thoughts?
Jake Kye hmm...I was thinking Nexus too, looks like a 1N, but I didn’t think they offered the p02/Lidstrom pattern for it though. I had also thought pro-stock Kane, but I know Kaner shoots left and by looking at the video, Steve shoots right. I know Giroux shoots right and has a similar curve to Kane’s pro-stock, but this does look more like the Lidstrom re-tail curve.
It's from a company called Drops Gear. The stick is the DPZ Vigor. Looks very much like the mainstream Bauer sticks, but can be custom to your needs. Also can be ordered in large quantities for an entire team. They are really nice. Hope this helps.

Funny, on my way back from stick and puck today I was telling my friend that I’m not a big fan of the feel of the blade on my current stick. I was telling him how I wanted something that felt more like my old 1N. I checked Drops gear’s website and right on there front page they advertise better feel than the 1N on there stick! It’s intriguing haha!
Great video. Feedback for the videographer, the angles are fancy and cinematic but not helpful for an instructional video. The low-angle follow footage makes it hard to discern his body mechanics.
I thought this would be more about drills at high speed since the title is "DANGLE LIKE MCDAVID" (Nice clickbait title), but nonetheless I like the drills in this video.
These are some nice exercises and moves but they really aren’t very McDavid. Especially the Nylander move. Lol! McDavid if anything is known for speed and driving wide.
I hear you World Wide. The exercises in the video are good to that end but they are stock exercises. I just saw some them in a Sean Skinner DVD from 2003. The most McDavid like stuff in here the heal turns, soft hips at the end. Just saying the video isn’t really living up to its title.

This is Lidstrom, Kane's curve is a lot flatter in the heel and it doesnt open up until the toe. The blade also gets gradually taller towards the toe.
