MSG is a salt Monosodium glutamate which is a food enhancer. Some persons call it seasoning salt.

I have enjoyed all your videos...I am new to growing orchids and wanted to know if you plant the orchids in the gravel or are they mounted on the spikes.thanks in advance

Hello Andrea and welcome to the world of orchids a very additive hobby that you will not regret😄. I do grow these orchids in gravel and charcoal even they are staked. There are persons who will just grow them on the stake without planting them, but I find they grow better for me planted. Happy growing.👍🥂

Hi Aisha, you don't have to add the molasses if you don't have. The MSG along works well as well.

Most interesting. Do you have any problems with ants when you use the molasses?

Extremely interesting Doc. Always appreciate learning new tricks. How often do you use it and do you use it with or separate from fertilizer? I get so excited to see the Vanda with pink and orange blooms. She catches my eye every time. They look wonderful.

Thank you Jo. Yes it's really interesting. I use it bi-weekly separate from my other fertilizers. I especially use it on my newly planted orchids. Oh you love the pink and orange bloom Vanda, nice. 💃😀. I'm glad you love them. Blessings friend🙏

Hello Linda, I do not have that experience with the mixture attracting the ants. I never really seen ants drawn to my molasses. Blessings for 2023.
