The best stadium in the world with the best crowd and the most beautiful team. One of the biggest time in life. Unforgettable day. Thanks a lot for this marvelous share.
Im an Irish man and my old man is a proud Irish rugby supporter, but even he will admit nothing comes close to the millennium/cardiff arms when it comes to atmosphere, just on a different level. Definitely a life goal to go watch a match there
I generally find the singing and atmosphere dissapointing in the millenium (for football and rugby). There's far more singing at the football, anthem, Calon Lan and numerous chants driven by the Barry Horns. Not being anti- rugby at all just think the singing is overrated and comes down to one bit of Hymns and arias which is singing about singing Hymns and arias. Which is ironic. Genuine comment.
I agree with you fella. As both, a Welsh rugby, and football fan. I concur that the atmosphere for Welsh football matches is so much better. That said. Welsh football and rugby are my two main passions, so I'm willing to accept that neither is perfect...er gwaetha pawb a phopeth!!
I don't think you can define Atmosphere just by how much singing goes on. I agree that there actually isn't that much singing in the millennium stadium compared to football games but that is a rugby thing in general and not a phenomenon confined to the millennium stadium. It is definitely the loudest stadium, especially when the roof is closed, which is a very big part of the special atmosphere that it has. Plus the fact that the stadium is right in the middle of the city centre which also adds to the atmosphere before and after a match. Ask any rugby fan and I think most of them would agree that the millennium is the best rugby stadium in the world.
@@matmul4850 yep I don't disagree about the stadium. I have been there sometimes and its more like a theatre! Ive also been there and its been superb. I'm not advocating a ninian park approach but it would be good if Cwm rhondda, Calon Lan etc echoed around from the fans.
Only recently the football atmosphere has been decent, since we started playing at the ccs. Before then it was mostly shit with the odd exception like the Italy game. A few bad results from the Welsh football team and you can bet it will be shit again with half empty stadium
That is why it’s the best stadium in world rugby .

@@jamesgrey1227 I think they need a singing section like the Canton end at CCS or safe standing.
