    I had to rewatch this video after I watched one of your "my first time riding public transit in DC" videos. Because "Wait -- he recorded part of it in 2001??" And then I contemplated how you're looking so young in 2023 if you're, like, almost 50. :) Loved this one, btw.

      I'm honored that you didn't notice the editing on the "old" footage. Yep the apple store opened before I was born. Thanks for watching!

    This is similar to the 59th street 6 and the Lexington Ave-53rd street F,Q transfer in the NY subway

      I still gotta get to NYC at some point, does the MTA see it as 2 separate trips or can you transfer for free?

    Thanks Sammy for making this video. I don't live there.
    But I have empathy and compassion for you and people who have to deal with these things.....

    That map at 2:23 looks like the CTA's maps from the 2000s

    Wow, 2001, what at time to be alive. Life was simpler back then when only apples had rainbow colors on them and even then they were disappearing fast.

      I remember my preschool had rainbows on the walls.

    Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t Boston have this too? I thought I heard somewhere that you have to cross the street in order to transfer to a different subway line.

      maybe, im not totally sure, I changed the title to DC's because someone pointed out that Chicago has something similar.

    Did the Silver Line replace that bus or does one still exist?

    • @sammymarrco47
      @sammymarrco47  9 месяцев назад +1

      28A is one of the busiest busses in wmata, prob the most used in VA. It runs every 12 mins a lot of the time and wasn't replaced by the sliver line.

    I like how 2001 you doesn't have access to the free Farrugat transfer, but somehow has access to the 2014 Silver Line.

      I said I took 28A to Tysons, from west falls church.
