Your channel and your energy is the reason why I, 2 months decided to open up my own detailing business for my community where I’m at most people can’t afford a good detail or just don’t feel motivated to clean their cars and for me to see your videos and keep me motivated to do better to be more active and advertise and to also be grateful and humble. YO great video James its always so cool to see your videos and positive work attitude and ethic. I got a suggestions for you! You can use Optimum No Rinse as a really good light interior cleaner for your wipe-downs. Since ONR is so concentrated You can use it at a 256:1 or 16:1 ratio. Its really good for touch ups, light dusting, and just overall wipe-downs on a car that isn't to dirty on the inside. Saves a bunch of money too since its dilatable

You should invest in a big tent canopy, you get some good shade! Just make sure to strap it tight
They make hats like the one you have, but it has a fan on the inside and solar power on top. Works great. Might want to invest one for the summer.

Great video James one thing I wanna ask about is for someone who has a little experience in detail and wants to jump on making a business out of it how does it work? From getting a license to cost of fees what is needed to get your business running? Another thing is do you do engine details?
I bet he doesn’t have a license or anything. He doesn’t even pay taxes I Bet. People think it’s easy to have your own business.
I just moved to the Central Valley . It’s always hot early in the morning. Do you recommend to wash the car under a canopy ? There’s no shade at all by the house !
do you ever recommend to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery if you plan to have to spend a lot of time inside the car? Especially if you have to do extractions or you just have super high soil levels? Anyways, keep up the great work man!

What do I need to be able to carry my own water? Right now I only detail from my driveway or using customers water but I feel im left out of other jobs cause I don’t have my own water

James and how much you charge for your maintenance wash 🧼 i have a couple of people that want maintenance wash but don’t no where to set the price at
80-$100 is my guess it's easy money since they aren't to filthy let the client decide monthly or weekly you should be in and out in a hour or hour and half that's 40-50 dollars an hour
