    Wild Touring thank you for keeping it real and sharing an epic experience on the beach as the tide rolled in and into the night. Had a good chuckle at the cocktails, good on you for sharing. We got hammered recently when we shared a night of enjoyment with the locals in Port Fairy watching a Cold Chisel Tribute Band. We sang out hearts out for a band we had grown up with with local strangers and yes we were slightly tipsy. Our motto is "Live your best life" and we have no regret from what we share on our adventures. Keep you videos coming, we love them.

    Interesting fact up cheynes beach past bluff creek a fair way there's an inland track and it leads to a fishing shack that's clean and sheltered etc but can be tricky to get to as beach washes out mega soft and deep creek crossings but such a good camp site if you can get to it!!!!

  • @SUPERTRUCKER166
    @SUPERTRUCKER166 Год назад +1

    As others said drifta has a bag to suit, or it’s something pm canvas can make. As for the cable you can get shorter ones via the starlink store.
    Also highly unlikely to see a 12v adaptor since it uses 48v Poe.

    • @WildTouring
      @WildTouring  Год назад

      Cheers Mitch, was already thinking about having a chat to PM Canvas about it!
      Can you send me a link to the shorter cable? Just had a look again and can’t see anything from them shorter than the 75ft ours came with?
      I’d have thought that Starlink would offer a 12v router in the future- especially since they’re marketing it for ‘RV’ use.
      I’ve seen a few Americans are using 12v to 48v dc to dc converters and a 48v PoE injector, but looks like it requires chopping cables to fit different connectors. Not something I know enough about to attempt!

    • @SUPERTRUCKER166
      @SUPERTRUCKER166 Год назад

      @@WildTouring it’s a standard cat 6 cable with a stp end. I just looked on the store and the 10m ones aren’t listed atm. But I believe there is aftermarket options.

    Hi cam, super impressed with the videography (think that’s the word) on this one. Great job mate.
    What’s the larger screen on your dash that’s turned off? Also re the TPMS I read on another forum to make the screen easier to see put a business card under it and let it protrude about 10-20mm at the front and the reflection of the white on the screen helps you see it better. Might be worth a try.

    • @WildTouring

      The screen is my safety Dave rear view camera (for the van). Came with the caravan- glad I didn’t buy it because the resolution on it is atrocious for 2023 😂

    Starlink is expensive ! ? You dropped $100K on the Cruiser and another $50k on pimping it, but $399 purchase plus $`179/month (opt in only when on the road if you want) is expensive ? 😂 BTW you can buy the unit and pay $139/month at home to get that speed you have there on the test you did in the video. Then when you go away, jump on the app, upgrade (for your trip duration) to the Roaming level. ($179/month) then drop it back to residential $139 when you get back.
