He handled his illness with dignity and grace, and to the end put others needs above his own. RIP Chadwick Boseman.
Most people handle their illnesses with dignity and grace, mostly because they have no choice. He was a fine actor, not a saint.
@@liberalguy513 Not true ...Some people die bitter, cursing God and ask "why me" . Don't diminish his good nature with your cynicism and false narratives. Everyone has a choice of how they want to die. Some people give up and wallow in self pity. He kept going for 4 years! Impressive.

No one besides his inner circle knew about. The fact he did so many things while battling it shows how amazing he was. He’s a legend. And he will be missed dearly
Shows how loyal his inner circle was too.
Also the fickleness of Hollywood if he disclosed an illness.
Did Kevin Feige and Disney know?
@@goncalofernandes1432 Most probably Kevin knew not sure if Disney did.

I really don't think whoever they get to play BP next will be able to do as good a job as Chadwick did ! Rest in power King T'challa !
it will be yahya
Might be cgi bozeman
They have to kill him off and do like a legacy thing, like how Falcon was given Captain America’s shield. Recasting the character seems too insulting and pointless. Just have someone else be chosen as the next Black Panther & king/queen of Wakanda. Maybe Shuri? Maybe someone new? But not T’challa.
The Black panther mantle will be passed to Shuri
@@mmem4264 Shuri I believe has actually taken the Black Panther mantle in the comics, so there is precedent there.
It still impossible to believe that Star of black panther Chadwick boseman has died
Why is that impossible to believe? Thousands of children die every year from all sort of things. What's really impossible to believe is that Keith Richards is still alive.

I’ve seen cancer ravage two of my grandparents and it was terrible. I honestly don’t know how he did it. The sheer willpower it must’ve taken is unfathomable.
I'm sure one reason he kept hush about his diagnosis and treatments is because the studio may not have taken a chance on him if they knew he was ill. I can't believe he did all that work getting prepared for the roles while undergoing treatments. He was amazing.
@@braybraylove1247 the sheer strength that he and his inner circle had to endure. Then eventually Marvel would have to have found out and hopefully worked with him in trying to heal. It is still such a shock, and probably very few people did know. I wish his spirit and family peace

Wakanda Forever-the words of a true legend
He was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2016 meaning he could have had the cancer during filming Captain American civil war
Yes, it's highly likely that he was already ill during principal photography for Captain America: Civil War, even though he hadn't been diagnosed yet. Cancer takes some time to develop and grow before spreading to the adjacent lymph nodes.
More reason why they need to drop the whole "wait till you are 40, 50 etc" before you get x screening done. Do it as early as your 20's or perhaps even earlier and do it once a year.
But doesn't filming take place a year prior to release? So if Civil War came out in 2016 then the filming would have taken place in 2015. I think in Black Panther to Endgame you can see some visible weight loss
@@shaf621 Civil War finished filming in August 2015. Mr. Boseman's cancer was diagnosed as stage 3 in 2016. But cancer takes some time to grow and metastasize.
Ed Edison Exactly. It takes time for it to become Stage 3. It doesn’t happen in a short amount of time. As someone who had Stage 4 Cancer, I can tell you it doesn’t happen overnight....nor is it a painless experience.
Mine started as back pain, about 8 months later I had a compression fracture in my lower back and then two months later the Doctors did an MRI (per my request) and found out it was Cancer. Currently on my 9th month of Remission and currently 27.

I'm sorry that happened. In fact, the movie looks even different after this news. Many phrases have a deeper meaning. Especially when t'challa is talking to his father, who tells Him to get up, because he is the king of Wakanda. I advise you to review the Black Panther, if someone else has not done it, really the film looks very different, so even if you realize that the actor was already ill then, suffered. I remember thinking about this news all day yesterday, and I had a lump in my throat. Even when I made a video for myself on the channel about Chadwick, it was very painful, to the point of tears.
