Don't usually comment. English is not my natural language. But you are my favourite GI joe reviewer(?) no drama. Very positive. Very profissional. Thanks you.
I remember this design fondly when I was a kid and saw this on the shelf. I was like Storm Shadow defected to the Joe's!?! NO WAY!? I don't mind this "Classified" style update but I'd also be all in for a retro card version that is more a nod to the original toy. Another solid showace D
Thank you for the review. You are the only one who has shown that the hoided head can be changed around etc. The whole hood being non-removable . But now I see it can be "fixed", swapped That was a real setback for me
I LOVE this version of Storm Shadow...I found him once as a kid and immediately lost him, but I thought this look was so awesome, even if it doesn't make any sense. I don't mind the hood being glued to the primary balaclava head, it's just one more extra piece I don't have to worry about, and it adds to the mystique of the character.
First appearance of Ninja Force, including Nunchuck, Dojo, TJbang, Snake Eyes V4 and Storm Shadow V2 was in issue 118 of the ARAH run. So technically this would count, but after that he started to use the Arctic outfit
I like this version of Storm Shadow purely because he is based in the 3.75in O-Ring version I have ..... this design was my first Storm Shadow (bought in my 20's mind you) before even acquiring the classic white version - so this is a 'buy' for me.
Great figure. But like Retro Scarlet, I feel the inability to snap the sheath into the belt and make it removable subtracts a lot from the functionality. At the same time a ninja aint riding a vamp anytime soon and he can ride a bike just fine. But I would like to be able to remove that without cutting it off.
This figure is based on the 1988 Storm Shadow (when Storm Shadow joins the Joes in the Marvel Comics). The NInja Force Storm Shadow was the Arctic Mission Storm Shadow, which is based off the 1992 version.
Bruh this version of Storm Shadow is more akin to actual ninja or like the tokusatsu costume you see at eigamura in Kyoto and I’m all for it. Bro thanks for this review I was kind of in slump as so many figs had disappointed me lately but this brought me back to the ether
Another great review! I'm not as excited for this figure but a Mezco one with this outfit in soft goods would be excellent. Of course I'd rather Mezco focus on a Joe character that they haven't given us yet. How is it that Mezco hasn't gocen us a Cobra Commander or Baroness yet?! Until then, the Classified line has defikely us in figures for both pretty well. The Crimson Strike Squad Baroness blows them all away IMHO.
Great review as always! He's still just not what I wanted in a v2. I still have it on pre-order, and will probably mod the crap out of it to make it closer to what I wanted. Might end up being a fun project.
Thank you for the super early review! Man, it's a shame about the hood on the head sculpt but like you showed us a simple head swap with some light modding, possibly a bit of paint will make all the difference. Overall, this new Storm Shadow looks like a good one to add!
My only gripe is these trays Classified has been using. I almost damage the extra accessories trying to get them out!!! The weapons honestly could be a lot less gummy and my version the leg joints were so tight I thought I was gonna break his leg! I guess I had more than one but sick figure wanted this guy for awhile was my favorite figure growing up.
Wouldn't it be cool to have a drop down head that could work like the drop down leg? You could sink in the neck joint to normalize the figure or extend the neck a little so that the figure could look down really olw or high for a sniper position. Just a though lol
Really dope review man! I know you’ve probably already answered this question plenty of time but could you please tell me where you got that sci-fi door diorama? If you made it that’s really awesome too!
We decided to go with the hood connected to the head because of the screw up that everybody was doing by putting the hood on wrong. And then complaining about the look.
While I love this look. The red accents and the Kenny face make me look at it more of just a Random Ninja and Not really the StormShadow that I had when I was a kid. I do hope they add this to the retro collection and take the red away and fix the hood. For now. I think I’m better off enjoying it from a far. 😞
This laughable at this point, they ve made 5 Storm Shadows since Classified has began and refuse to make the best design he's ever had, Operation Blackout. The Hiya is amazing, they even have a ultra budget version at Walgreens. Won't cop another SS until they do.
I don’t understand the hood thing. It’s like the designer wanted to double down on their mod idea by gluing it. Just leave it as an option. I still don’t understand the blades and sheaths also. Seems you would want the sharp end of the sword to be drawn down and away from you. This whole idea is like Cris Cros wearing their clothes backward. It short circuits me.

Now we just need the tattooed version they advertised when this line started.

I don’t know why, but this version of storm shadow would look good with the desert commando snake eyes

That’s not the ninja force version. The Arctic Storm Shadow was actually his ninja force look.
Exactly.
yup Artic Mission is closest to Storm Shadow v3 the Ninja force version
Came looking for this comment
Headswap looks good. I dig this version. When I was a kid, V2 looked so much better than V1.

Just wanted to say that I love the new stop motion intro

Great video when i get mine the sheaths are gone Tommy is a ninja not a wannabe samurai lol
DEFINITELY team head swap!! "Drink your water guys"!
I don’t collect very many Joe’s but now whenever I get one, I will watch your videos
Thank you for putting this review out! I had him on pre order but wasn’t sure about it. I am def keeping this guy! Thanks for keeping it fun!
Really hope we get a proper retro version for this. And please don't make it another unobtainable exclusive like the last one ...
Always loved this look for Storm Shadow but I’m hoping that Mezco does a version, like they did with the tactical Snake Eyes exclusive. 🤞
Really appreciate the size comparison section. Great review!
9:42 Awesome split kick there Stormy!
Man this is amazing, I cant wait for mine.

I do like this design. Styling it out with a bit of camo kinda. It’s a good look
Thank you for another great review. I can't wait to get mine.
Looks nice! Is it possible to remove the belt? That's the only thing I don't really like...
I really dig this version of SS!
He is super dope.
He was a favorite as a kid I can’t wait for this one , great vid.
I can't wait to get this one
I'm so excited for mine to get here! Love this version.
GI Joe team keeps putting out fun product. I like this look for Storm Shadow! Great review and pics!
Another great review!

I'm pretty sure that they will make a retro version out of this (just like they did with the 'version 1' style Storm Shadow)
I didn't like the re design when i first saw it, that suit was too iconic for me but seeing it posed i am actually liking it a lot.
I just ordered this one! Thanks for the review D!
Your review convinced me to keep my preorder.
Man he turned out great, cannot wait for this!
What are the blue cobra soldiers called, with the brains showing called????
Range Vipers

Me too I already know what I'm going to do to it
Excellent review, and i really like this piece.

He's more like "Disruptive Camo" Storm Shadow. Most of the line during the 1988 release has that camo pattern.
Nice! Can't wait for mine to show up!
I was a fan of the original Joes/Storm Shadow as a kid, I’ve never seen this one… looks cool though.
Finally someone does the head swaps
I love the pictures
Damn fine review sir. Thanks for all of the hard work.
Question, do you happen to have a video or suggestion of one on how to mod the hands to accept SHF pegs?
The Amazon Exclusive is more so the Ninja Force version.

so curious to hear what you think of SHF Guile
First time catching your content…instant sub!! Dope review…the verbiage was informative…can’t wait for the next! ✌🏼

So cool!!
thanks for reminding me to like! 👍🏿
I hope that when you ever get around to modifying his head and hood you will make a dated video on your work
Looks great
😎 this is the review one I been waiting on
There’s something about a well done domestic figure that can’t be beat
Arctic Mission Storm Shadow is the Ninja Force Storm Shadow
this is just Storm Shadow v2/1988
We decided to go with the hood connected to the head because of the screw up that everybody was doing by putting the hood on wrong. And then complaining about the look.
Great review. Looks like I am in the Pulse waiting game...until December O_O
great content as always, and I'm wondering where could I go to see your finished modded v2SS??
I knew the figure was going to grow on me. Looks nice despite the bash it got. Does it have a neck joint?
Just noticed Persona 5 is back!
Does he have a waist ball joint like Snake Eyes? Pretty sure the first Classified Storm Shadow doesn't.
think it's worth as being an army builder?
Great video
great review : i will keep this fig because if ur review thanx
Do the white hood with the black (Artic) version mask
Looks goood
I hate that the sword sheaths are on the right side of his hips
Dope
It bugs me so much that the swords are on the wrong side. 😂
Damn uploaded this in the middle of the eagles game 😂
How did you get this Storm Shadow so early?
Arctic Mission is Ninja Force. This is called V2 because it was V2 back in 1988.
Cool
1st!!!
🐍COBRAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!🐍

This is the Tommy I've wanted since BEFORE I started collecting.
Can’t stand the belt. Would the figure look stupid if you cut it off? Asking bc I might do that if it looks ok
Got mine pre-ordered on Amazon...can't wait to get him in... thanks for the review

How do I look up the Walgreens version
* comments *
(Sorry I’m not creative enough but wanted to help the vid)
5'11"
Yea I’m definitely not getting him. He looks worse in hand
Shame that he's small compared to other joes.., glad that you showcased this figure, i'll pass on it
That's disappointing. The hood should have been wired cloth as well as the hip covers. Way to limit articulation, Hasbro!
its cringe hasbro does this differance sizes with their figures, i mean the same character can end up suffering because of it, like this storm shadow.
